More astrological comments- Another case

You already know that it is a frequent practice in astrology to not advance or

anticipate the events, but as soon as something happens every astrologer rushes

to show " his connections " and to relievate how the rules of the respective

school excells " in interpreting the event " .

 

There are many astrologers who do not score not even one hit in they life,

despite they continuosly advance or give many and successive dates for events

that never happen. In my opinion they should stop doing so. But nobody recalls

their failures nor try to make them conscious that they should better abandon

astrology. Please tell me, who employs a baseball player who never scores a hit

or a single home-run?

 

Let`s rememeber how many times the Pope has been " killed " ? How many times

Castro`s dictatorship in Cuba has been ended ? What about the chances of Prince

Charles to become King? If Queen Elizabeth has the same life expectancy of her

mother, it seems Charles can not be King. And please take in account that in

those cases we do have their exact times of birth. So there are no excuses.

 

In another sidereal list, there is a canadian guy who always give lousy

predictions , about everything, and they never happen but nobody recalls him his

total incompetence as astrologer. But how about the tropical lists? I

participated in AStromundi for many months and frankly I never read any

prediction.Not a single one. And what is worst, not even a posteriori, the

charts they considered, rimed with the events.

 

I had never studied hellenistic , but what I can deduce from those who practice

it is that it is another mumbo-jumbo astrology with different terminology. In

that it resides its " cache " or appeal or flavor for those who like to pose as

pseudo-intelectuals.

 

In the case of the war with Irak( it is not strictly a war but an unilateral

attack for personal reasons of one side) , a lot of astrologers had given dates

for the attack since last august and nothing has happened.

 

Of course if you continue giving successive dates, somebody will be able to

agree with the date of the attack, in case it is finally done, due to the

obsession Bush has with ousting Saddam. But this is not astrological prediction,

only guesses.

 

And to guess you do not need to use astrology.

 

At least in my case, in last August I said in a posting to a sidereal list that

I did not see an inminent war. But I suspended my analysis when I learnt that

there is no reliable data for Saddam nor for the moment he grabbed power. So how

can somebody predict if there is no chart available? What kind of astrology is

that where you work without birthdata?

 

A case

 

Let`s analyze the following case with critical eyes to see how astrology applies

to him. The following person was born on june 26/1958 in Bogota 4n38 74w05, hour

unknown.

 

He sudied first and graduated in Business Administration and later specialized

in Harvard in Economics. He was an intelectual who started working with the

Government when he was just 25. In 1994 was appointed as Minister of Health and

repeated in that charge from last August 7.

 

I doubt we can read that in his chart, independent of what time he was born.

 

In my case, after reading his biography I opted for a birth hour of 8pm. In

this way I place his moon in the 10th of career, jupiter in his academic 9th and

venus in his 5th, trying to adjust his chart to the tenets of hindu astrology in

regard on why he could arrive to such high positions. Besides, with sun and

mercury in his 6th I could " rationalize " his dedication to work. He worked an

average of 18 hours daily.

 

Of course you can choose any hour, because all could be valid.

 

Well, on last friday, feb 7/2003, he died when the Piper where he flied crashed

against a mountain at about 4 pm. Although the pilot was a very good one,

apparently they met a cumulus nimbus( vertical winds) that sent the little plane

down so they were not able to reach the altitude required to pass the mountains.

 

If you analyze the chart for the crash, with coordinates 4n and 75w, you will

not find anything that gives account for the collision. Many soft aspects as

moon trining venus and mars trining jupiter and the last one aspecting the sun

and neptune.

 

And if you compare the chart of the sinister with his natal chart, you will not

find many adverse aspects neither. Even transiting mars and jupiter are forming

a great trine with his natal mars.

 

To summarize my point, it is my honest opinion that even if we knew his exact

time of birth, we would be unable to advance and to warn him of the risk he had

of dying in an accident like that, because his chart does not give any hint for

it.

 

This is one of the many charts I had found where astrology does not offer any

clue. Where it is completely mute.
