Guest guest
................................. But don't we all make our own challenges, and is there any reason not to meet a person's challenge if it's an opportuinity to show our own truth? Don't we love astrology and want to show that it works? Don't we want to demonstrate evidence for our signs? Or is, " Well, it works for me! " enough? This has been the Tropical arugment for decades. Can't we go one better? Terese It is as hard as trying to create a safe world. Good ones! However, how about two main stars of the Scorpion's tail being in Sidereal Sag, (Fagan's ayanamsa) and all three of the tail stars if you use Lahiri's ayanamsa? And how about the stars of Virgo taking two thirds of Sidereal Libra while the stellar scales are relegated to the final third of the sign? By the way, these scales...the ancient claws of the Scorpion...are where Tropical Scorpio gets its bad-guy reputation. See...this big battle between Ed and Damon...they were crossing swords in that constellation where they both have key planets. Terese Terese, Robin, Juan. I read something about researching done by scientists. I am a member of such a group, paying only contribution for research (not a scientist)only student astrologer. The first years the commutity needed astrologers badly. The way we all like to prove astrology is helas not acceptable. This group is started in Holland (I am Dutch) by a scientist-psychologist, astrologer but only as privat hobby and only tropical. One astronomer joined our society at senior age, Professor emiritus. He did not prefer to join a just before started skeptic Society against astrology, but still he shows scepsis. The problem is up till now not one research succeeded. First did a psychologist lector doctor, in Leiden (University). He gathered thousands of birthdata of students psychology and for comparison thousands technology (Delft and Enschede). Amsterdam refused. The lector first studied astrology, tropical, and considered that psychology students possible have the watersigns prominent. Sun,Moon, Mercure Venus only, as there was no birthtime available. A lot of work was done by them and afterwards the lector and his friends (not so fervent sceptical)were disappointed after so much work done. Not water element was prominent, but the firesigns! He shew it by a statistical frame to the society. At once I was in good mood and said to him you succeeded well. Sidereally is the waterelement indeed prominent. obvious! His emotion was too upset to listen. Naturally the members-astrologers objected to this project, because the whole chart should be the prove of value. But after this debacle research stopped. Several research projects are opened later by real astrologers (again tropical), but the professor asked then to take fictitious dates/hours to compare the whole research. How would you react to this request? It will be a very long time to prove astrology without this impossible requests, but for so far I heard the request was accepted, I never heard of a prolongation. Another project was the charts of writers. Which factors in the chart of writers show prominency. Quite interesting is that for us, but how about the psychologist lector he only detected a Venus prominency. One astrologer considered Neptune. It is interesting to discover that writer's charts show the various characteristiques of their personality and the sort of roman they created. So I also discovered that several psychologist's charts are different too. For one psychology is a profession based on ideals and those for which their profession is a form of income (IIe house). So it is difficult to do research as long as the tropical zodiac is favoured in the West. Regards, Anny ______________________ To Alfonso Osorio. I think most of us agree with your statements and quite glad with your explanation! To quote the Holy Gospel I already assumed he did not dress himself with the " right garment " before he joined our group. You wrote: One of the things that had always worried me is the incapacity of most astrological systems to explain why astrological twins, born just 5 minutes apart, can live so different lifes. And this is one of the reasons I quitted tropical astrology. But it is not the main reason. Other day I will come back to this. I have a twin, born 7 minutes apart, a boy and a girl. Besides several similarities such as buying at the same time, in the same shop and living apart, fairly distanced a new pair of jeans (trousers), they saw each other at the Cashdesk. At first with the tropical: both Virgo in top. Sidereally I discovered my daughter's MC changed into Leo (though 29° Leo ...') and her brother's Mc stayed in Virgo. My son has been always studying and loves it well. Computerprogrammer and later also SPD Administration; is not yet married. My daughter (married):in youth she loved to go out sports and disco dancing and choose fostering animals and agriculture. Now she is married and hostess for several babies and children after school from the neighbourhood, whose parents are both working. She loves to foster children (Leo). My granddaughter's Sun is born exact conjunct my daughter's IC!! Born an hour past New Moon. So nobody needs to doubt my calculation! Regards Anny ============================================================================ ================= There was something in here about the Akashic records, I thought, but I can't find it. Edgar Cayce read the Akashic records. Did you know, Starman, that he said to place the signs in the Persian (i.e. sidereal) zodiac rather than the Egyptian (Tropoical) zodiac? Terese!Surprise!!Someone asking about the Akashic records:Once I emailed ARE to ask them. That is logical, tough? They answered:The tropical zodiac! I was quite surprised, but it is indeed the same answer which I always get from tropical astrologers: the clients are content with it. For young adults (22 - 24 years old) it is ALMOST the sidereal secondary progressions. so I could understand, but for baby's these " tropical zodiac charts " are disastrous, if afflicting the Ascendant. Last year such astrologer forecasted a seat and succes in Parliament for an aspirant politicus, who is murdered at the same time of publishing! I read this half a year later, in the library. He stopped thereafter. Regards Anny I have just about everything published on old Persian astrology and earlier. Yes, the zodiac used was Sidereal. Terese ______________________ The charts of those who suffer Parkinson's disease are leaders such as Pope Johannes II, Yassir Arafat and a few others. If you do not have the time and would like to have them, I'll send you. Research astrologers regret the difficulty to get birthtimes of non- leaders who suffer this same disease. The Chairman of corporations are too cautious to serve.
