Still, some thoughts occur. These kinds of scandals have been

prevalent in the Catholic Church for years. The Jesuits are believed

to have about 45% of their population be gay men.

>>>> It is a perpetual problem in convents. The good one's and the

gay people are exposed to temptation, because they have no good guard

to master their mind and feelings. I know several serious aspirant

priests who left the convent or seminarium, because of these troubles.

They distanced themselves from religious education.

I wish I had a chart for the Catholic Church, but I don't know if it

exists. Perhaps Constantine's codification, but an earlier date for

the ascension of Pope Peter would be good. Yet, all is lost to

history.

>>>>> Christianity started in Rome ca. 40. Julian calendre, perhaps.

Peter came to Rome around the year 60 AD "

I have bought a book " The lives of the Popes " " From Peter to Johannes

Paulus II "

It is about the history of the Church and also the profane

history in the world, side by side in the list. The writer is Richard

P.McBrien. HarperCollins Publishers.

Alan Leo published birthdata of several Popes to compare them.

>Edgar Cayce said that Pluto represented a consciousness that was only

beginning to be felt--'a developing spiritual awareness.' With the sex

scandal, this is certainly happening in the Catholic Church. I grew up in a

Catholic family, and priests were regarded as practically Jesus himself.

>>>>> I have experienced that myself. In one family, with a priest in

the family he was directed in the You form as to a highplaced person.

It is all changing now, here in Holland.

>>>>> I have heard on TV, it occured also in other religions, here.

Even in those circles where clergy is married.

Regards to all,
