Guest guest
Hi everyone! I posted this question before but don't know if anyone's seen it. Can anyone tell me what is the *ayanamsa* used for calculating a sidereal astrology chart (w/computer), and what is it called (is 'ayanamsa' an exclusively Vedic astrology term)? I use WinStar programs which offer various options on calculating sidereal charts - Fagan/Bradley, Krisnamurti, DeLuce, Raman, etc. Which one of these are mostly used? I'd appreciate if someone could tell me more about this. Also, I'd like to know if astrological symbology (planets and signs) is the same for sidereal as for tropical astrology. I'm fully aware that these are " newbie " questions, but since no one is offering the basics, I have to ask. (No laughing, please!)
