Guest guest
All of us, like your client must find our own " justification for living " . What you are doing is wonderful and also very difficult, since being receptive also makes one vulnerable. Understanding and communicating with your client requires your being one with the client and often with clients one is reminded to look within oneself. I don't know if you have ever experienced mid-life crisis? At 42... Uranus opposition to its natal and possible neptune square to its natal is fertile ground for mental perplexities to unravel. Its not an easy time. With this Grand Quintile coming up on the 1st allow for some extra meditation.... With the curent Saturn, Pluto and Uranus alignment this is an excellent time to center and to do what matters most to you. cynthianovak <cynthianovak wrote: Dear All I have a thoughtful question and I'd like any opinions. What do you say when someone asks: " What is my life's purpose? " I know astrology offers insights, but isn't this something each person must find for himself? Isn't life's meaning and purpose what we ascribe to it? I ask because a client in grief asked me. Nothing I offer seems to help. So what do you say to someone with this question? Guest guest
Hi Cynthia, I've had this exact question asked of me several times over a period of many years. My response to the client has always been the same, and that is--- " I have no idea of what your life's purpose is, that is something between you and your Creator. As an astrologer I might be able to help you fill in a few blanks, to come closer to an understanding of That, but each of us must find this answer for ourselves if it is to have any meaning in reality. Even if I was to be so presumptuous as to tell you, my guess is you would not accept it anyway, because you know in your heart of hearts that no one can honestly answer that question. " The above always seems to satisfy the client and in a sense empowers them, and can only reinforce their suspicion that the responsibility for the answer lies solely within themselves. Guest guest
Cynthia... Sounds like you've given good advice... in a practical sense... I looked at what I thought might be this individuals chart... Approximately Nov.4th 1947 and in this " general " time frame in the progressed world... this individual has a couple of(long term) restrictive " issues " to contend with... 1) The Lunar Nodes are in close exact square aspect with natal/progressed(stationed) Saturn. 2) Uranus® aspects her lunar nodes and chiron in a " limiting " capacity. Its one thing for the Uranus factor to be evolving while its direct and another as its retrograde aligning into a 30/150 degree relationship. I realize its all speculation... so forgive the shot in the dark, however if I'm close to correct, this individual with Venus/Jupiter conjunct can find her " good " self in others through volunteer work....... Personally, volunteerism allows one's purpose to appear self evident. Those we volunteer with mirror our belief system and the bounty of love. Juan... PS: Hope she suggests a seperate house on their property for Mom... This situation presents a whole set of " restrictions " . Your client's mechanism's to explore her freedoms requires a conscious commitment. How does she embrace her Saturn? Her Uranus? cynthianovak <cynthianovak wrote: Dear Juan Oh yes, I have experienced this. This client is not 42, but 57. I understand the pain, but also she has Mars, Sautrn and Pluto in tight conjunction in the 2nd house. Gemini lagna and a kala sarpa yoga. She has always had plenty of money, her children are grown and finally moving out on their own and her spouse insists on investing most of their money into a huge new home. His mother will move in with them. At the same time that this is running away with her, a person from her youth appeared in an email. Pluto is tricky as are KSYs. Pluto is now in tight trine aspect to Mars, Saturn Pluto. I have told her that his person represents her past and will bring up memories of who she was then. Now, is is faced with who she has become and can make changes if she likes. As often the case with Pluto transits, the person stopped sending messages and she is alone with her emotions in a situation that is in many ways out of control. I suggested she pull up old annuals and albums from her youth to remember parts of herself. I hope she does. Now she is in pain. thank you for your insight. c Juan Oliver [jivio] Monday, September 27, 2004 12:10 AM Re: RE:Purpose All of us, like your client must find our own " justification for living " .
