reading a book called _A Severe Mercy_, about two

people who were so entirely devoted and attached

to each other that they created what they called

a " shining barrier " to fight against " creeping

separateness " . I won't go into what that is all

about, but it seems to me that the two people in

the " story " are examples of what Gemini can be

like, that maybe the idea of soulmates is a very

Gemini thing, mythologically. This is just a

thought, not really based on anything.

Good thought, Elizabeth! The Indian picture for Gemini is a couple--man and

woman, so India somehow picked up on the concept of Gemini having to do

with harmony or relatedness.
