I'll save the CapSolar for another time, as I think all the CapSolars and

their progressions should be considered as a unit without mixing them up

with the monthly solar ingress charts. (Meaning there are too many figures

for my brain to deal with all at one time.) Likewise, the 9th

harmonic-navamsa charts give important clues, but it's best to save them

for later too. Comparing the F-B and K Leo ingress charts for Kanto, here

is what we get:

 

(A 7.9 quake September 1, 1923 in Kanto, Japan. 143,000 people were killed.

The F-B MC aligns with the quake Mars (opposition) and Ascendant (square).

This is important because one of the primary stress aspects in the quake

chart is Mars in the 10th in partile square to the ascendant.

 

However the F-B Leo ingress angles don't catch the primary stress aspects

of the K Leo ingress (rounded figures):

The F-B ingress ascendant **does** sextile Neptune and Mars, trines

Saturn-Moon, and squares Uranus in the ingress chart. As Bradley suggested,

it's possible to take almost any ingress chart and find appropriate

earthquake configurations. No doubt the Lahiri angles would match stress

points as well. This is why (as Bradley said) it's necessary to work with

larger groups of charts to extract principles that apply more often than

chance would allow.

 

Bradley didn't know statistics, but he reported that he *interpreted*

patterns from data provided by scientific sources. Gary Duncan was the

statistics person. Does *anyone* know what ever happened to Gary's

organization for Astrological Research? It's mentioned in a few older

articles, but I've never seen anything from Gary Duncan after those

articles written in the 70s.

 

Gary died of a massive heart attack in 1988 at the age of 56. Whatever

happened between the 70s and 1988?? Did Gary leave any legacy for those

years? If not, why no more discussion of the earlier research? Bradley died

in 1974 at the young age of 48. We now have a 30 year sidereal research gap!!

 

For any CapIngress chart that happens more than a month before a quake,

progressions would have to be used to compare to the quake chart. This is

why the Cap Ingress charts are basically a separate study.
