Hi Therese!

Just one note/addition on the Moonnode remark.

Formerly I learned from a noted lady astrologer in Holland

in her astro magazin, that the moonnode's place and aspect would be

interesting in the charts of the people involved in the drama with

death following. It is a drama-en-masse-point.This I only remember,

because I just started to read about astrology.

Regards,

Anny

Hi Anny,

I'll save the CapSolar for another time, as I think all the CapSolars and

their progressions should be considered as a unit without mixing them up

with the monthly solar ingress charts. (Meaning there are too many figures

for my brain to deal with all at one time.) Likewise, the 9th

harmonic-navamsa charts give important clues, but it's best to save them

for later too. Comparing the F-B and K Leo ingress charts for Kanto, here

is what we get:

(A 7.9 quake September 1, 1923 in Kanto, Japan. 143,000 people were killed.

35.40 139.08 02.58 UTC)

K Leo Ingress: Quake Chart: F-B Leo Ingress

(Adjusted to K figures)

------

Asc 18 59 Ta ---> MC 18 38 Le Asc 27 06 Ta

Jup 18 41 Li ---> Moon 18 33 Ar (opp Ju) Moon 9 24 Li

(quincunx Asc) N No 18 47 Le (mean)

Mars 7 22 Le <-----MC 6 17 Aq** (conj IC)

Asc 7 03 Sc

The F-B MC aligns with the quake Mars (opposition) and Ascendant (square).

This is important because one of the primary stress aspects in the quake

chart is Mars in the 10th in partile square to the ascendant.

However the F-B Leo ingress angles don't catch the primary stress aspects

of the K Leo ingress (rounded figures):

Asc 19 Tau---> Nodes 19.5 Le/Aq (quake MC=18.5 Le, Moon=18.5 Ar)

Jup 19 Li (qcx Asc)

Mer 22 Le (conj NN/sq Asc)

Plu 19 Ge (tri Ju, tri SN, sxt nadir)

MC 28 Cap---> Nep 25.5 Cn (no match to quake angles)

Mars 27.5 Cn "

Sun 0.0 Le (wide sq to quake asc)

The F-B ingress ascendant **does** sextile Neptune and Mars, trines

Saturn-Moon, and squares Uranus in the ingress chart. As Bradley suggested,

it's possible to take almost any ingress chart and find appropriate

earthquake configurations. No doubt the Lahiri angles would match stress

points as well. This is why (as Bradley said) it's necessary to work with

larger groups of charts to extract principles that apply more often than

chance would allow.

Bradley didn't know statistics, but he reported that he *interpreted*

patterns from data provided by scientific sources. Gary Duncan was the

statistics person. Does *anyone* know what ever happened to Gary's

organization for Astrological Research? It's mentioned in a few older

articles, but I've never seen anything from Gary Duncan after those

articles written in the 70s.

Gary died of a massive heart attack in 1988 at the age of 56. Whatever

happened between the 70s and 1988?? Did Gary leave any legacy for those

years? If not, why no more discussion of the earlier research? Bradley died

in 1974 at the young age of 48. We now have a 30 year sidereal research

gap!!

For any CapIngress chart that happens more than a month before a quake,

progressions would have to be used to compare to the quake chart. This is

why the Cap Ingress charts are basically a separate study.

Sincerely,

Therese

Posting of Earthquake Charts

For anyone who isn't totally tired of hearing about earthquake charts, I've

posted five quake charts in Solar Fire format along with a short note file

to go with each chart. To cut down on the clutter, a few major aspects

aren't diagrammed in the centers of the charts. For example, I didn't ask

for aspects to the Moon's nodes, although they are important in quake

charts. I'm still experimenting with orbs for aspects.

The charts are in the EARTHQUAKE CHARTS Folder. Each page has three wheels:

(1) A Krishnamurti Ingress chart at the top left

(2) The Quake Event chart in the middle of the page

(3) A Fagan-Bradley Ingress Chart at the bottom left

The F-B chart is computed for 59 minutes of the ingress sign because it

isn't possible to post charts with two different ayanamsas on the same page

in Solar Fire. These charts are titled, " The Sun Transiting 00(sign)59'.

These charts may be slightly off if there is a second or two more or less

difference between the F-B and K ayanamsas for any one year.

`

The notes aren't exhaustive, just a few observations from the charts.

Anyone who wants to is welcome to print out the notes to use when looking

at the charts. Also, anyone can add an additional note file about the

charts.

Next I'll look at the New Madrid charts suggested by Bob.

Sincerely,

Therese
