Cynthia, I think shyness belongs to Saturn. I don't have your horoscope

here at the moment, and don't remember where your Saturn is. Pluto may

appear to be shy, but it just likes to be alone.

On line you will see my Mercury in Scorpio in mutual reception to Mars in

Virgo!

Looking forward to that home cooked meal!

I agree. Shyness has little to do with Venus and a lot to do with

Saturn. It can also have a great deal to do with the condition of the Sun.

In Libra, the sun is in his fall and this can lead to that sort of social

awkwardness. Not always mind you, but often enough to take careful note.

Dear THerese,

I'm warming up the oven now!

I've been thinkinga bout the whole concept of shyness. I wonder if you

already clarified it for me: Pluto likes to be alone!

DL always kids me, I say I'm going to go to social functions or join a group

and never do it. Sounds like more of a personal confusion than shyness.

HAte to waste time that I could be doing somthing else like pulling my hair

out over the election.

My daughter is extremely shy. Her Saturn isn't esp. strong, but her Venus

is. Actually Saturn does aspect Venus (sextile), so maybe it's the

combination. I've read that V in Virgo is shy and she has that in navamsa.

I was painfully shy as a child. I have Saturn rising, Venus somewhat

strong. My husband has Pluto rising and aspecting almost everything. He's

friendly around people, but prefers to be alone ... well, just with family,

but not neccessarily noticing what's going on with anyone else.

Amen, Bert. Well said.

A note about Venus in Libra. Since this is one of the houses of Venus and

the exaltation of Saturn, once in a relationship, this Venus likes to stay

there. It's different in Taurus, the exaltation of the versatile Moon.

Relationships can come and go very quickly.

I know a woman with V in Libra who's been married (and divorced) 5 times!

So much for that theory!! Unless Venus has a Rahu (or perhaps Saturn)

influence.
