The importance of Planets zqhelisabeth <zqh_elisabeth ______________________ ______________________ Therese: > I think part of the reason for this is that the > sidereal astrologers don't > want people to think in terms of signs, but > mostly in terms of the planets. Anny: Why forget about the signs? Most people know more of sign that about planets. My family is quite content with my delineation, but up till now not interested for the source (signs and planets.) Since I practice the sidereal zodiac I value the signs on the cup very much, since they prove to be a great help in delineation. Afterall the ruler of each house which is occupied by planetes, receiving aspects of them, is quite influental. Par example: The ruler of my MidHeaven (MC) is Jupiter. MC symbolizes the father and husband, Jupiter conjounds III. (Taurus on cusp) My father's sun was in Taurus. House III is mundan Gemini's house. My father's Asc. was Gemini and my husband's sun occupied Gemini. So symbolizes Jupiter on III the brothers. They were specialist-medicine - Jupiter. Venus ruler of Taurus is in Capricornus in my radix and that was the Ascendant of both my brother (surgeon) and my husband's. So: sign and planets are very important in delineation. It is quite an adventure to study my family's and my chart, because I recognize everything about their nature and habits. Nothing is superfluous in the technique of astrology. Regards, Anny And so I see how a person with a strong Sun could be more like a Leo, even if the Sun is in Capricorn. Anny: if so, then Capricornus is situated in house V of Leo. As influental as my sun occupies in the XIth house of Aquarius. Sun = father ( his MC was Aquarius and Aquarius in I (East Point)my husband's . So I think Sun signs are, in a way, all " Leos " . We all have a Leo in us, which seems to tie in with what I said before about all the signs being something real in all of us. Anny: That is right, there is a Creator - Leo in us. _
