I just want to respond to a couple posts i read in the digests.

My experience with astrology has taught me that astrology does not

tell you what will happen, but instead tells you when things CAN

happen. Every attempt to isolate the hard and fast rules by which

the planets operate has been stultified. I've come to regard them

not as impersonal energies that are bound to do this or that in any

given situation, but as living energies which interact with living

beings. Thus, predicting what the planets will do is more like

predicting what a person will do than figuring out the operation of a

machine like a car or computer.

 

I've also completely given up on trying to use astrology to explain

the why or how of things. I have a friend who just graduated with a

degree in astrophysics. He's honest enough to come out and say how

accurate my readings are for him, but it drives him up a wall because

he always wants to ask me why astrology works. I have no idea why

astrology works! I have no idea why the movements of the planets

would correlate with the actions of myself, others, my physical or any

other type of body. All i know is that the correlation exists, which

is really all i have to know to help people. I suppose that's what

makes it a " divine science " as opposed to other types of science.

Some things i'm just not gonna know.

 

I'd love to hear others' opinions about their planetary philosophy, so

to speak.
