Guest guest
Adam... Welcome to the Merry-go-Round. Your message is the first one I read today.... Which told me that today is gonna be somethin else! Let do me do something first... LMAO... Oh... I feel better now... You are toooooooo funny!. You remind me of the guy that was laying on the beach, perched up against a tree and had a coconut fall, hit him on the head and woke him up... ouch! Where does one start with you? I agree... I read Jan's book " Astrology of the Soul " and it is a keeper... A book on " nodes " that I recommend. How to explain two seperate astrologies with two different fiducials. Well, first of all they are both capable if you seperate these babies. Tropical utilizes the names of the constellations along the ecliptic to describe a 12 sign cyclical formula. Dude... should you be laying on a couch or somthin'? " Western " (cuz I'm a cowboy) Sidereal utilizes the constellations and positioning of fixed stars(Spica) to describe a 12 sign cyclical formula. So books that you read... are now read in a different context. I think that you will find that sidereal return charts will work better for you than tropical. That the emphasis is on the planets themselves and their aspects(relationships) to each other... Once the door is open, very few ever go back and even then they remain siderealists in the closet. It has always been about observation since the first constellation was given a name.. Thats all we can do today is observe and learn.... Suggest you check out sidereal.zip If you have trouble finding it (Google search for sidereal) I'll send it to you direct.... Happy Trails! Thats all we can do > today is observe and learn.... ---I truly don't know where to adjust my context. Everything is off a " sign " . So the tropical idea of my Moon, Venus, and Mars being in Cancer at my birth and thus affecting me strongly because the Moon is the ruler of Cancer is all hogwash? Have those sensitivities another source? Is this creating personal reality here? Did I just project those Cancerian sensitivities, emotional extremes and such onto myself after reading about tropical astrology? Please direct me to a site or person that will do my sidereal natal chart with interpretations. I am very curious how it will unfold. I've read and trust Edgar Cayce's material and he also seems to promote looking at the planets and their aspects so much more than the " tropical signs " or constellations. I wonder though how the Ascendant, houses and such play a role if any in sidereal? What " flavors " the planets and their aspects in sidereal astrology? What context does my Moon conjuncting Venus or Squaring Chiron have? Are their interpretations for the planets alone not including their relative " placement " amongst the constellations? > > Suggest you check out sidereal.zip > > If you have trouble finding it (Google search for > sidereal) I'll send it to you direct.... Had trouble please send direct. Thanks. > > Happy Trails! > > Juan > ---Thanks Juan for your time. I hope that the rest of your day was a little less mind work. > PS: What's a fulywob anyway? ---A fulywob is me. I'm an endangered species. I'm the only one remaining left, yet I'm a little bit domesticated and enculturated. I can't explain much more. I can't remember much about my origins or others of my kind. I'm still searching for other survivors. > > --- Adam B <fulywob@n...> wrote: > > I just joined here because of my recent playing > > around with my > > astronomy computer program.
