Andrew, I believe (have observed) that forward aspects in the zodiac are much stronger than reverse aspects, so your Mercury influences the Moon (mind in general), but the reverse doesn't happen. This gives a strong Mercurial influence. You have a Mars-Mercury conjunction in the navamsa, so you'll tend to deal with practical facts and information. I'm the same, having a Mercury/Mars mutual reception. Add to that your Sun-Mercury in Virgo... >conjunct Sabik... With more than a two degree orb? >and Spiculum... There must be another name for this star? How about Maasym (lamda Hercules)? It's only minutes from your Moon. Deep yellow, supposed to be the ancient star color related to the intellect. Ptolemy, of course, gives this star a Mercurial influence. A while ago I printed out most of Anne Wright's star material. She's done a superb job of gathering the written astrological material on the stars. annew >One of the Hubers' students >once called this combination 'the eye and the ear.'
