Bhai jaan some more spice!; bhai jaan u are forgetting an earlier posting in this group where i quoted from armaan no 114 that saturn's masnoi jupiter+venus should be considered and for deleting brahspati, budh should be established by kayami of budh and now onwards saturn will become benefic when mercury meets venus and u only told me the method of involving rahu there with jupiter ..

My main purpose to ask this question was can we add to tyagi ji's list under subheading Rules ..... Saturn that native with saturn 2 should not offer oil at a temple. Kulbir Bains

Dear Kulbir bhai,Offering some thing at a temple can be with two different and deliberate actions. One could be to offer a karak of a planet to make the planet swear to behave in the presence of the deity. The other could be to establish the karak in the 2nd house. The subtle difference between the two above would depend on the sankalp [ mental vow] you have made at the time of the upaya. Therefore a Karak object of Saturn can be offered at a religious place to swear in the presence of the deity not to create mischief [ almonds for Saturn in the 5th]. But it would not be advisable to offer at a temple the karak of Saturn in order to establish it in the 2nd house.Applying oil on the forehead is prohibited for Saturn in the 2nd because the act will strengthen the Saturn even further, which may not be desirable. The karaks of moon or venus are mentioned because they will strengthen

the 2nd house which might be weakened by the presence of saturnReinforcing a badly placed planet through an upaya is not advisable. This is true for all the planets. Now just for the sake of academic interest and logic:In case it is evident that the saturn is malefic, then I would prefer the karak of mars to be established at a temple and not a karak of venus or moon. Venus or moon have nothing to do with malefic Saturn. Malefic saturn = mars+merc, we can not establish mercury part of the malefic saturn in the 2nd house. But this act will then depend on the left over mercury whether the merc is benefic for the house where saturn is situated. Just for academic fun.mmmmm was quite a spicy food !!Regards,Varun

Dear Kulbir bhai,

Yes, it can be added in the Chandra Prakash list with an exception.

One can offer mustard oil at a Shani temple even if he has Saturn in

the 2nd house because the purpose and sankalp here will be to appease

Saturn and not to establish Saturn in the 2nd house.

Have a nice day,

Varun
