My main purpose to ask this question was can we add to tyagi ji's list under subheading Rules ..... Saturn that native with saturn 2 should not offer oil at a temple. Venus or moon have nothing to do with malefic Saturn. Malefic saturn = mars+merc, we can not establish mercury part of the malefic saturn in the 2nd house. But this act will then depend on the left over mercury whether the merc is benefic for the house where saturn is situated. One can offer mustard oil at a Shani temple even if he has Saturn in the 2nd house because the purpose and sankalp here will be to appease Saturn and not to establish Saturn in the 2nd house.
