Guest guest
Hi Steven! Thanks very much for the right date and time. Tomorrow I am going to study the page and dates of eruptions, you gave me. Only one question I have: I used the Julius calender, because Pope Gregorius changed the calender in 1582. Do not you think it was the Gregorius calender? I am glad about 0079. Before my program Janus " protested " when I put in only two digits: 79. So I chose for BC JC. I studied your first email tonight. Indeed it is quite interesting to study the New Moon in Pisces. Seems to me there was a spiritual ceremony at the time. The 4th house was occupied by Juno and Poseidon. Poseidon works spiritually especially in IX. Priests (the best/pure) have Poseidon at best in IX. Hi Amy, Your post sparked my interest in Mt Vesuvius so I checked into it a bit. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the eruption occured in 0079 AD. The date was August 24, 0079 AD. The first rumblings began sometime in the morning, but from what I could find out, the big event may have happened closer to midnight. Here's a great link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/ancient/romans/pompeii_portents_01.shtml Interestingly enough though, Pluto was at 25 Aquarius, so very close by square to Mt Pelee Pluto/Uranus. Something else-- there was a close Mars/Ketu conjunction in Aries, just as in Pelee. A couple more interesting dates on volcanic eruptions: Krakatoa: August 27, 1883 @ 10:02 AM LMT Indonesia 16S42 105E24 Mt. St. Helens: May 18, 1980 @ 8:32 AM PDT 46N12 122W12 Best, Steve

Hi Anny, Dates prior to Oct 14, 1582 are assumed to be in the Julian calendar or OS (Old Style), by Solar Fire software. Dates after that are Gregorian or New Style. I'm certain this date must have been in the Julian Calendar, that was in use at that time. Here is an interesting account by Pliny the Younger of the event and a time frame of 2:00 to 3:00 PM is given for August 24th. http://www.volcanolive.com/pliny.html Best, Steve
