Guest guest
Therese.. Thanks for the update... MWT should be +6:00 hours What do you think? Juan PS: Possible error in time here because of the MWT. --- Therese Hamilton <eastwest wrote: > List Members, > > Just today this information was posted on the Rodden > AstroDatabank site: > > Birth Name: Kerry, John Forbes > Birth 12/11/1943 (Dec 11, 1943) > Birth Time: 08:03 (08:03 AM) MWT(+7:00) > Birth Place: Denver, CO > Latitude / Longitude: 39 N 44 / 104 W 59 > Rodden Rating / Source: A / From memory > > Source Notes: Frances McEvoy quotes his mother for > " sunrise. Looks like it's from Solar Fire with true MWT. 16 Trop Sag rising. Guest guest
Therese.. MWT stands for Mountain War Time... Who ever wrote +7:00 was in error... MWT is the same as MDT(Mountain Daylight Time) and though Kerry was born in December when the norm would have been MST(Mountain Standard Time +7:00)The correction(For all of youse UT users..)is +6:00. The previous time of 7:10 AM came from Astrodatabank as well. It was not shown with a rating nor was a reference to how the data was obtained. From my quick evaluation of the two charts.... the 8:03 does not make him look like a winner in November. Now Edwards on the other hand looks like a winner on Nov. 2nd... I had looked into Kerry's birth time also, and had rectified his chart to about 8.10 am time, but hadn't quite finished with the job yet. I had come that far using mostly just return charts, which clearly indicated that Kerry's birthtime should be somewhat later than the firstly announced 7.10 am. I hadn't quite gotten to applying secondary progressions to fine tune the chart yet, before the latest info about the birth time arrived, but am now happy to notice I wasn't going totally wrong... I am not sure if any of you have tried using Lunar parallax when computing Lunar return charts. With Solar Fire it is easy. However, I often seem to get better results, if I calculate parallax-corrected (local) Lunar Returns basing them on non-parallax ( " universal " ) natal Moon (I bet Bradley never tried this! . See, for instance, Kerry's Lunar Return for his prostate cancer surgery on Feb 12, 2003, Washington DC. Calculate his birth chart first without parallax Moon, then do the Lunar Return calculation at Washington with the parallax correction switched on. This way, you'll get the appropriate chart factors lined right along the horizon of the chart. If you do everything the " normal way " , however, the same planets line up along the Equatorial East / West -axis, squaring the MC of the return chart. Well, maybe that is good enough for some... Hmm... they _did_ give the source and rating for the previously announced 7.10 time as: " Rodden Rating: A / Source: From memory Source notes: Frances McEvoy quotes his mother for " sunrise. " >> From my quick evaluation of the two charts.... the > 8:03 does not make him look like a winner in November. You may well be right... > Now Edwards on the other hand looks like a winner on > Nov. 2nd... I have not looked into his chart yet, have inspected only Bush's chart (along with Kerry's), which in my eyes still looks kind of promising -- to him, at least. Bush will have quite an interesting horizon-axis in his 2004 Solar Return chart, with SR Pluto on the Descendant, opposing his natal Moon's node and his prog. Uranus on the SR Ascendant. -- A rather unsettling configuration, to say the least... Risto V
Guest guest
Risto... Thanks for relaying the rating and the source for the 7:10 Am chart... I had tried to locate that information at the Astrodatabank site but could only find his " time " of 7:10 referenced. Question is now... which verbal reference is " correct " and is either one of them? --- Risto Vartiainen <risto.vartiainen wrote: > On Thursday, February 19, 2004 10:20 AM [GMT+1=CET], > Juan Oliver <jivio kirjoitti: > > > The previous time of 7:10 AM came from > Astrodatabank > > as well. He does not appear to have anything complimenting his Pluto(natal/progressed) and Neptune(transiting)opposition... At this time from what I see... He's a loser... From what I can gather from Neptune in his chart this year he will use " religion " or as he calls it " family values " to further his political agenda... I think delusion will get the best of him... > Bush will have quite an interesting horizon-axis in > his 2004 Solar Return > chart, with SR Pluto on the Descendant, opposing his > natal Moon's node and > his prog. I don't see him becoming a New Age(Uranus/Asc) enthusiast(unless it was politically correct) so a change and possibly some electricity besides the Saturn he is laboring with attached to his Sun. What I don't understand(I have not looked at the charts yet) is " the appropriate chart factors lined along the horizon " ? Which is ? and which time are you using ? Risto, could you possibly give us an example or two of how you used the return charts with a couple of events? I don't have time right now to work on Kerry's chart. It would save me a lot of work and enlighten everyone else. (I mean give the year or month of the return and which planets in the return correlated with events.) Juan, I'll get to your questions tomorrow, probably. -- It's 2.00 am here in Finland already...Of course, by then you might have checked the " chart factors " yourself, maybe? I am now using the 08.03 time for Kerry, the best time available...have not had time to do any further rectification for it yet. But I have a feeling it is quite close already as given.
