A single or bi-wheel doesn't show the same picture. Actually I find the tri-wheel very confusing. The main problem is my printer doesn't like it. How about in addition to the tri-wheel, posting the progressed and quake charts (bi-wheel) and Ingress/quake chart (also a bi-wheel). I do care about studying those charts. I can't print out a tri-wheel without the inner wheel planets blurring together. But the printer lately refuses to print the charts at all. >[MQ] As I've already said, I don't consider either the semi-square or >sesqui-square to be any less effective than the quincunx. I believe we need to *see* the tension aspects, and there's no tension across the chart with less than 60 degrees. (My personal opinion) All astrologers agree that the square creates tension, also the opposition. I add the quincunx. These are the only primary aspects I want to see in quake charts and quake ingress charts. (Two quincunxes to one planet will create a sextile of course, the old Tropical " finger of God " configuration!!) Example: A planet in Aries aspected by planets in Scorpio and Virgo. I'll continue to use my few aspects. You can continue to use additional aspects. Two different approaches. We also disagree on where Venus (should be) in quake charts. Well, we can take a look at four significant quake charts. I'll post the data. > ----------- >[MQ] If I recall correctly, the Loma Prieta quake hit with a huge >crowd of people at Candlestick Park for a ball game. Social Venus in athletic Scorpio? That's not inappropriate symbolism at all. Matthew, you are sounding wholly Tropical here!! I'm talking about aspects specifically related to the physical quake itself. A jarring, mis-alignment of the physical plates of the earth. Not Venus! And how would you tell a marriage chart from a quake chart if you're allowing an angular Venus in quake ingress charts?? (Yes, the Venus-Moon opposition may complete the picture for the day, but it's not in the foreground in the quake chart. It doesn't describe the MAIN event! >[MQ] Therese, again this is where we disagree. The configuration may >not be angular, but it does tie to the ASC through semi-squares, as it ties to the CanSolar angular Venus through sesqui-square. It's all part of a picture. The more you increase the number of aspects, the more chance you have of all your different types of charts blending together (As a marriage or quake chart with a Venus aspect to an angle.) The best we can do here is each of us uses our favorite tools and see what we come up with. We can agree on the charts being studied. >[MQ] That's why I've been trying to get people to look at the sidereal charts with sidereal eyes for YEARS. And we all know how good astrologers are at communicating with each other!! Astrology itself may not be ruled by Uranus, but astrologers themesleves seem to have a good dose of Uranus. Still, we're making a beginning here, arent' we? >[MQ] Therese, you have your own multi-colored box of crayons navamsas, nakshastras, and jyotish techniques. We all have them. Matthew, have you seen me use these techniques with the quake charts? I've stayed very basic with western sidereal techniques, paying great honor to the angles and major aspects. But thanks for reminding me of the nakshatras!! I'll have to check them out. (privately) (There have been extremely close and intersting navamsa contacts, but I'm nont talking about them on this list.) >That's how we take a birth chart or an ingress or a return >chart and get more than bones from it. From what I've seen so far, no subtleties or shadings are needed with the K ingress quake charts. Well, we'll look at a few... Sincerely--thanks for talking!
