Guest guest
HI All Anyone interested in a different topic? Marthat Stewart is set to be sentenced on Friday. I'm about to do her SR, using Fagan ayanamsa (correct?) I assume that the SR's will be very different if she is given a light sentence and if she is given prison time it will be very hard for the coming year. If I understood it, there is no room at a posh facility. BTW anyone have the birth data for Lea Fastow who just began her sentence in Houston this week> I hope y'all will play along so I can learn cynthia Here is her birth data. Her lawyers are naturally looking for some sort of continuance or new trial, or at the very least, a stay in a half-way house. Her next Solar Return for birth place, places her natal Mars at the 4th cusp, where it is met by the unfriendly square of the solar or transiting Saturn. Saturn has already moved past the Mars by 3* however--but I still think she will feel the effect--i.e her 'home' situation for the year will be very difficult--meaning I think she will get worse than a half way house. Meanwhile her natal Saturn is receiving the square of solar Mars--again showing many difficulties. Pluto rises in the SR and the SR ascendant also picks up solar Saturn by quincunx (in the 8th house of scandals). Jupiter of course is also in the mix here along with solar Moon and Venus--so what I see is a Pluto/Saturn/Jupiter/Moon/Venus to the solar ascendant. To leave myself an 'out' here, the Jupite/Venus/Moon may cushion the effects--so a halfway house may be in the mix--perhaps later next year. SR ascendant and Moon also pull in by degree her natal Rahu and Neptune which sit near the 12th cusp of her natal chart. Her sentence will be handed out with a transiting Mars/Neptune against her natal Sun/Asc and Saturn against the natal Mars. Neptune is getting ready to station against her natal Sun/Asc also within a degree by opposition/square. Transiting Saturn will station against her natal Merc (lord of 12th house) and her natal Moon (lord of natal 10th house) by quincunx in November. Her November quarti solar has Moon/Saturn exact by degree at 2 Cancer near the IC and square by Mars. Her 2005 SR also looks fairly dreadful, with Mars rising in Aries squaring a Moon/Saturn conjunction in Cancer. By now I'm rambling and have said too much--bottom line, I think she will be sentenced and will spend time in a fairly dreadful facility, and perhaps some or the sentence at a half-way house-- and I expect her sentence to be longer than a year. One more thing on this--tomorrow a general chart for noon, shows a Moon/Saturn/Sun conjunction with Venus approaching by semi-sextile. Mars is in the constellation of Cancer precisely opposite Neptune (troubles for cooks? :>)) These are factors adverse for women in general (IMO)--and a harsh decision by the judge will natually bring out much criticism from women. Guest guest
Dear Steve, Thank you for taking the time to look at the charts. I'm still learning about SRx but the coming return does not look pleasant. I did look at her transits for Friday and it sure looks like a big day for her. Transiting Merucry conjunct to the minute of her MC. Mercury sure indicates some action in the career arena and of course some news. Let's not forget that Merucry rules the 12th yikes! It also rules the 9th which suggests that some good stuff and learning comes out of this. Notice the tranists by Merucry and to Merucry. The Sun will conjoin it, followed by the Moon (both tomorrow) then Saturn conjoins Merucry in September. Mars has just crossed her Sun, and she is already convicted in many eyes and talked about. Mars is lord of the 7th so her opponents are really getting a head start. But it also suggests that she is really angry. That Mars in CAncer is not the most, hmm, shall I say pragmatic Mars? The transiting Sun is on her Merucry, which could well indicate some good news. The best transits is the Venus to Jupiter in her 8th. Perhaps she will have to pay a big fine or restitution to anyone harmed? Perhaps that transiting Neptune approaching the 4th house cusp indicates incarceration or simply limited movement because she is doing loads of community service. The nodes (ketu on the ASC does not look very promising, but it is just departing. Rahu on the 7th might indicate her new roommate in prison) It does not look good for Martha, but doesn't look quite as bad. I'd guess a shorter sentence than expected. In Vedic, she is in her Rahu Venus period. That transit of Rahu is then in my mind more powerful than usualy. Notice her natal Rahu is in tight aspect to Neptune and Neptune now approaches the bottom of her chart. She's going away somewhere. It will be transformative. Oh, if anyone uses trines from Pluto, note that Pluto us un very tight aspect to the MC her career has certainly changed. I'm a little sad about it. It certainly seems that she did little wrong compared to the TYCO and ENRON carpetbaggers. I look forward to more ideas and discussion c Steven Stuckey [shastrakara] Thursday, July 15, 2004 1:47 PM Re: Re: Martha Stewart cynthianovak wrote: > HI All > Anyone interested in a different topic? Hi Cynthia, This looks like a trade off between 'good' and 'bad' planetary positions. I saw this as jail time and time spent in a half-way house. It looks like the 'half-way' house will be more of a 'whole' way house.... She will also receive a 2 year probation, where she will probably have to report to an officer. Her lawyers are naturally going to appeal the decision, but I don't expect they are going to get anywhere.. However, this could tie up the acutal sentencing date for her prison stay. They are also petitioning for a minumun security prison near her home for her 5 months stay--however teneted mostly by drug offenders. Pundits are suggesting that she do her jail time quickly and forget the appeals process so that she can move on with her life and business--I'm in agreement with them. January '05 looks like a good time for her to begin her jail time--this from lunar returns and the quarti-solar. The atmosphere there will be far less refined than the Hamptons. Guest guest
Cynthia Steve et al, Yeah, some time in a beautiful home perhaps but hard to say for sure what the scales of justice will mete out of her in light of the possibility of appeal. Right now, I'd say 5 months hard time is in keeping with the negative picture Mr. Stuckey was drawing from her last SR. yours, christopher - " cynthianovak " <cynthianovak Friday, July 16, 2004 8:20 AM RE: Re: Martha Stewart > Martha STewart Sentence: > 5 month in prison, 5months home confinement and $30,000 fine. > > I guess that Venus Jupiter with Neptune on the IC is confinement to a > beautiful home > c > > > cynthianovak [cynthianovak] > Thursday, July 15, 2004 4:11 PM > > RE: Re: Martha Stewart > > > Dear Steve, > Thank you for taking the time to look at the charts. Guest guest
Dear Steven Cudos for good work. You really nailed it with the return chart. THe transits were not pleasant, but the return offered a cearer picture of how this will play out in her life. Hands clapping! To all What about the NN (rahu) It seems that she has in some respects lost her head and had taken a huge fall from grace. Do any of you see Rahu as hubris? I've seen so many clients reach success and lose their heads during the rahu Maha dasha or simply during poterful north node transits, I wonder if it isn't some test of humility. I don't know if you can stop the fall, but it seems to me that Martha fired her original attorney because he wanted her to plea or admit or something and she wanted the defense to go her way. Sounds like hubris to me. Musing....I wonder what it will mean at inauguration time when Rahu is exactly on W's MC or when it is exactly on Kerry's ASC at election time.....hmmmm thanks again for the education STeven c Steven Stuckey [shastrakara] Friday, July 16, 2004 5:08 PM Re: Re: Martha Stewart cynthianovak wrote: > Martha STewart Sentence: > 5 month in prison, 5months home confinement and $30,000 fine. Thanks Cynthia, I think you hit the nail also, since you felt the benefics would help to minimize her sentence. 10 months total was the minimum sentence the judge could give, and that's what she did. How bad could it be to spend 5 of those months in a mansion? > > I don't know if you can stop the fall, but it seems to me that Martha > fired > her original attorney because he wanted her to plea or admit or > something > and she wanted the defense to go her way. Sounds like hubris to me. I give most of Martha's hubris to her natal Sun/Pluto--the Sun here nearly exact square to the ascendant (42'). The Sun close to an angle looses much objectivity. The Sun is further fortified by the trine of Mars--there is nothing here to make her a repentant. Best, Steve
