This is a lie.

Have you not heard of Gaquelin????

He conducted the biggest and best statistical surveys to date, and he

showed that cardinal points were of high value. Others have done

much research as well; you really should do some internet searches.

Again, you are making conclusions that have no logical basis. The

sidereal zodiac is no more or less speculative than the tropical.

You have never shown any such thing as long as I have known you, but,

illusions are more fun than reality any day!

Richard, could you be more specific? As I remember we got along quite well.

But you should have seen how she and Michel went after each other at one of

the conferences. Quite a treat.

Where did you meet her? I knew her--can't remember the exact year, but

there was a research conference held at a college in southern CA. Really

nice, dorm lodging. I detest those expensive hotels with sealed windows.

But some of the talks were so much into math and statistics that I felt

very small and unintelligent. They asked me to give a talk on a project I

was working on, but I didn't have the confidence. No way, not in front of

Ph.D.'s!! I was wondering if you were at the same conference? It was right

after one of the big conferences at a hotel.

Therese,

So late: I attended a meeting where Francoise spoke. No Ph.D.'s. Star people

with doctorates are scholars not astrologers. Wanna prove it? Ask them to read a

chart. The subject was keywords for Saturn. But she accepted almost nobodies,

only her own. And she was adament. So I ran home to look at her chart and never

forgot...an eight minute out of oppo by Sun and Saturn. Poor Michel...but he had

a chart for suicide...A life of living with that and I'd arc off the Eiffel. I

am

going to look for her Psychology of the Planets, however. Thank You.

Better late then not at all, Richard.

A perceptive point! I have my own story there. At the conference I

mentioned I was sitting in the public area at one of the evening functions

dressed in some kind of frothy pink dress, long hair, a la Berkeley style,

at my best '15 years younger than I am' look. Michel Gauquelin comes up to

me, smiles and says confidentily, " You have a prominent Moon, don't you?! "

Of course I had to say, " Michel, I have no Moon at all, but I do have Venus

squaring my ascendant. " He was quite taken aback and looked very confused.

(I wonder if he knew what 'squaring the ascendant' meant!)

Oh, now I know what you were talking about! At the time I knew Francoise I

was only learning about the Gauquelin work. Probably concerning Francoise,

I was very quiet, in a learning phase. I will generally be quiet until I

feel I have a grasp of new material. So I didn't get to see that side of

her personally (at my house).

I do remember that either Francoise or Michel, or both of them (can't

remember which it was) would storm into the other's lectures and loudly

attempt to disrupt them. It would have made a good grade B comedy! It must

have been the French way of dealing with jealousy.
