Guest guest
I haven't done much with the election yet--but can add a couple of interesting things to the discussion. 1. At 11:00 PM on election day, Nov 2nd, in Washington (this time for the closing of the polls on the west coast), George Bush's natal angles are up almost exactly--13 Cancer rising, and 2 Aries culminating. I think the media is still not allowed to project a winner in the election until the polls close at 8 PM on the west coast. 2. Saturn stations Rx at 2 Cancer, and 1' off Bush's natal Saturn on Nov 8th, while transiting Mars comes to 2 Libra on Nov 6th and joins Ketu. The Cap Lunar before the election, for Washington on Oct 20, brings 1Lib49 to the MC with Sun at 2 Lib. This is likely to bring an event of the negative kind between Nov 6 and Nov 9 as the transiting Mars/Saturn picks up the MC. 3. This event is made more important by the station of Saturn and the United States natal Mercury at 2 Cancer (for 7/4/1776) also being in the mix. Would you care to speculate on what sort of negative event? I've pretty well cleaned up on the election with transits and return charts, and the picture seems 90 percent clear to me. Hi Therese, Just one little observation as a plus for Bush winning---but obviously I have to do some work on the election--been putting it off due to total lack of interest. > > > >Would you care to speculate on what sort of negative event? The Cap Lunar Sun is at the MC--possibly representing the President himself. This will come under the Mars/Saturn transit as will Bush's own natal Saturn. Similar angles appear in two other ingress charts I am using--but don't care to share at this time. If there is a Bush re-election, this could translate to demonstrations, attacks etc. Saturn's station on the US Mercury is also interesting, perhaps leading to troubles over the balloting, communications, transportation etc. My last prediction in March '04 for a negative event involving Bush and the administration for 6/11 didn't pan out--although the nation was burying Reagan on that day. > > > I've pretty well cleaned up on the election with transits and return > charts, and the picture seems 90 percent clear to me. 90% clear, meaning a Kerry win? Therese [cynthianovak] Dear Therese So, what does your 90% clarity reveal? BTW, what do you think about the Moon conjunct Uranus in W's solar return....no matter where it is calculated? still looking through the fog, or perhaps wishing for a different light c

[cynthianovak] Dear Steve, Yes, a lot of us thought something was going to hit the president, but he seems to deflect SAturn hits in an amazing way. True, there are a lot of vocal folks screaming about him, true a lot of the election rhetoric is vitriolic and absurd so there has been a big hit. BUt the real hit came to the US chart, a president died and was celebrated and mourned. Verrrry interesting. I was watching the news a Bush 1 jumped out of a plane. Isn't it interesting that the secret service insisted he be harnessed to one of them. SAturn can be protective. musing on too much coffee c
Guest guest
Hi, Over a year ago I opined on another list that Bush by hook and by crook, by enginnered endeavor, would be the occupant of the White House come January. Dark*Star, This is the problem, and intuitively this thought continues to haunt me. There is a great change in the Chaney/Bush return charts between the election date and the returns that begin later in November. With Uranus and Pluto all over the place around election and inaugural time, I wonder if we'll have another chaotic election? Or worse, no election at all??!! What good does it do if Kerry has the country behind him, but no one can cast a vote? Cheney's returns are definitely bad around November 2, but then the new returns are totally different. I'm puzzled. Also we don't have either Mars or Jupiter in the charts. We have the combos between natal and return charts, and Teresa Kerry's solar return in October has them together in the 7th (birth locale). Throw Uranus and Pluto into the mix, and it's like Cynthia said: Fog. Or maybe explosive surprises. Therese

Guest guest
Dear All I seem to remember that right oafter the March bombing in Madrid there was great concern about the potential for terrorists to try to alter the November election. If memory serves me, leaders of both parties petitioned for something or some way to assure that that this was not possible or something like that. Hmm, sorry I can't recall the details but I know I heard it on NPR so it should be easy to " scare " up. While Al Qaeda seems to be studying the Nazi handbook, this is not the same type of war for many reasons. In 1940's there were watch towers to see if foreign planes were coming in, foreign travel was closely watched and internment camps were built. Now, people travel freely and folks throw fits if someone looks at them strangely. We have flight attendants trying to serve drinks and note if they are serving a possible terrosist then checking the plane between flights for anything suspicious. There are many things that did not happen in WWII. Was there a time without fear and deception? c Therese Hamilton [eastwest] Monday, July 12, 2004 12:05 PM Re: Election 2004: At 01:34 AM 7/12/04 -0700, Jivio wrote: >At the time of the election, he(Bush) stands(IC) on Neptune.... > >Today... Would you share your suggestions for how to be prepared, what knowledge one should have? I suspect that Nick Berg thought that he was prepared but that did not spare his life. Yes, violence seems to be everywhere, but is it really helpful to ignore a group who has declared war upon you? Historically it has not proven successful to ignore declarations of war or to ignore genocide because it comes in a far off land or to presume it was simply their karma. I would greatly appreciate it if you could share some place that it has worked. Philosophically it is certainly superior, but where has it worked in fact? > >Today... Never came up during World War II... Fear(Neptune) & deception is deep seeded in the Dubya era..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scary!! And could be that's what all the Uranus/Pluto activity is around election time and in the return charts. No election, no vote, no one wins. T.
