Guest guest
A post from Matthew Quellas... a miracle just outside of the 12 days of Christmas. Matthew, could you grace our understanding more frequently? Guest guest
Dear Therese and list, I am a silent member of this list. I cannot actively participate because of my work. I am not a professional astrologer. I would like to say that I appreciate the debate between members on various topics. I thought I could share my views regarding rainfall and Jupiter placement. I lived in Prague(14.26E, 50.05N),Czech republic.There was a greater rainfall in August 2002 which resulted in flooding destroying many things (buildings,libraries...) The floods were maximum on the 14.8.2002 . Garth Allen teaches us that Jupiter should be in contact with the angles of the horoscope of a given locality for heavy precipitation. Moreover any aspect between Jupiter and Sun is very important for rainfall. I think that Neptune contacts with the angles should not be neglected as well as strong aspects of Venus and the Moon. Now let apply these rules to what happened in Prague. Using the Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa and casting the Capricorn and Cancer ingresses of the Sun for the 2002, I got the following: **SOLAR CAPRICORN INGRESS** 15 Jan 2002 AD 03:39:16 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452289.610603) *PLANETARY POSITIONS* Sun: 00Cap00'00 " (S00°00') @ 1°01'08 " /day Moon: 17Cap27'58 " (S03°42') @ 12°10'05 " /day Mercury: 18Cap27'36 " (N00°03') @ 38'31 " /day Venus: 00Cap09'01 " (S00°53') @ 1°15'28 " /day Mars: 02Pis25'55 " (S00°26') @ 43'47 " /day Jupiter: 14Gem02'14 " (N00°02') @ -07'31 " /day Saturn: 13Tau47'49 " (S01°45') @ -02'35 " /day Uranus: 28Cap23'38 " (S00°41') @ 03'09 " /day Neptune: 13Cap11'18 " (N00°06') @ 02'13 " /day Pluto: 21Sco45'08 " (N09°46') @ 01'54 " /day AC: 01Sco26'05 " MC: 22Leo52'25 " DC: 01Tau26'05 " IC: 22Aqu52'25 " *ASPECTS* Sun conjunct Venus (orb 09'01.74 " separating @ 14'20 " /day) (near exact) Moon conjunct Mercury (orb 59'38.77 " applying @ 11°31'33 " /day) (near exact) ****Please note among other things that Neptune is strongly opposing the ascending degree of Prague(11Can14). Now progressing this chart to 14.8.2002 gives: **PROGRESSED CAPSOLAR INGRESS** Transit: 14 Aug 2002 AD 02:00:36 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452500.542083) Ingress: 15 Jan 2002 AD 03:39:16 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452289.610603) Progress 15 Jan 2002 AD 17:28:36 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452290.186538) *PLANETARY POSITIONS* Sun: 00Cap35'12 " (S00°00') @ 00'10.01 " /day Moon: 24Cap26'58 " (S04°07') @ 01'58 " /day Mercury: 18Cap48'19 " (N00°13') @ 00'05.46 " /day Venus: 00Cap52'29 " (S00°54') @ 00'12.36 " /day Mars: 02Pis51'08 " (S00°25') @ 00'07.17 " /day Jupiter: 13Gem57'54 " (N00°02') @ -00'01.23 " /day Saturn: 13Tau46'20 " (S01°45') @ -00'00.42 " /day AC: 12Can46'18 " MC: 23Pis09'55 " DC: 12Cap46'18 " IC: 23Vir09'55 " ***** Please note that at the time of maximum floods, the progressed ascendant is in conjunction with the Prague ascending degree while opposing the Neptune ingress position. **SOLAR CANCER INGRESS** 17 Jul 2002 AD 13:45:21 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452473.031493) *PLANETARY POSITIONS* Sun: 00Can00'00 " (N00°00') @ 57'14 " /day Moon: 04Lib22'25 " (N03°52') @ 14°05'43 " /day Mercury: 25Gem48'12 " (N01°14') @ 2°08'30 " /day Venus: 12Leo41'07 " (N01°09') @ 1°06'47 " /day Mars: 07Can43'38 " (N01°07') @ 38'30 " /day Jupiter: 01Can50'38 " (N00°18') @ 13'24 " /day Saturn: 28Tau28'20 " (S01°15') @ 07'02 " /day Uranus: 03Aqu19'13 " (S00°46') @ -01'51 " /day Neptune: 15Cap13'37 " (N00°04') @ -01'33 " /day Pluto: 20Sco31'49 " (N09°59') @ -01'08 " /day AC: 11Lib37'03 " MC: 23Can44'04 " DC: 11Ari37'03 " IC: 23Cap44'04 " *ASPECTS* Sun conjunct Jupiter (orb 1°50'38 " applying @ 43'50 " /day) *****By progressing the Cansolar to the date of maximun flooding, we can see that the progressed ascendant is in trine to the Ingress Jupiter-Sun conjunction. **PROGRESSED CANSOLAR INGRESS** Transit: 14 Aug 2002 AD 02:00:36 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452500.542083) Ingress: 17 Jul 2002 AD 13:45:21 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452473.031493) Progress 17 Jul 2002 AD 15:33:31 GMT +1:00 (JD: 2452473.106609) *PLANETARY POSITIONS* Sun: 00Can04'18 " (N00°00') @ 00'09.38 " /day Moon: 05Lib25'55 " (N03°48') @ 02'18 " /day Mercury: 25Gem57'52 " (N01°14') @ 00'21.05 " /day Venus: 12Leo46'08 " (N01°09') @ 00'10.94 " /day Mars: 07Can46'32 " (N01°07') @ 00'06.31 " /day Jupiter: 01Can51'38 " (N00°18') @ 00'02.20 " /day Saturn: 28Tau28'52 " (S01°15') @ 00'01.15 " /day AC: 01Sco00'34 " MC: 22Leo14'38 " DC: 01Tau00'34 " IC: 22Aqu14'38 " These charts were erected using Aldebaran 1.0 BETA Cheers, Pingo

Guest guest
Hi, The Lunar Capri~Ingress on 12/24/03 3:41:30 pm. PST shows the Xmas mudslides at San Bernardino, CA in impressive detail. Jupiter partile square ASC (0-02') Uranus partile MC with Pluto setting, Moon-Saturn...rain, mud, a great breaking falling down devastation, 8th death. Its PSSR to today shows an astrologer(s) looking at, writing on the devastation of rain. Any astrologer living in tinder dry back country So Cal in October would have done well to cast the 2nd Mars Station of 9/27/03 7:53 am. _GMT, well ahead of time and doubled his fire insurance...3 significators of fire, 2 in the 8th. Saturn seen balefully rising :: Sidereal-Placidian.
