Guest guest
I've been seeing quite a bit about navamsa charts on here recently. All i've been able to glean from a web search is that they somehow help determine planetary strengths. Would anyone like to explain how to draw a navamsa chart? Is it possible to do so in english? Guest guest
A navamsha chart is a Vedic term for the 9th harmonic in the west. You simply mulitply the natal positions by 9 and expunge multiples of 360. You can use it for planetary strengths (Venus in Virgo in navamsha will weaken Venus' natal strength) and to assess marital life. Some astrologers also use it as a secondary natal chart, especially for natives 2nd half of the their lives, ie past the age of 40.
