Guest guest
Greetings! It's been a while since I posted in this group, but last time I was here there were a few people still using my program Aldebaran, so I thought I'd let everyone know there's a new version available (at a new address: http://wealthandpower.org/aldebaran/ ). The new version fixes a couple of distracting bugs: in the Transit vs. Radical chart, transits to radical angles had their speed reported wrong (no Virginia, Saturn Claus does not move 1 deg/day). Also, near-exact transits weren't getting the " (near exact) " tag added if the transiting planet was in retrograde motion. There's one new feature too: calculation of the Novien. Consider it a toy; I haven't had much opportunity to test it yet. (It should be noted that the Novien is reckoned from Taurus, not Aries, so it won't match up with the navamsa chart of our Jyotish friends.) Enjoy! Find the part that says " Zodiac=0 " and change it to " Zodiac=1 " . Or you could use the -zlahiri command line switch instead.
