Guest guest
> What can you tell me about this Greek character? sorry for taking so long to reply my computer equipment is in storage and i am working from cybercafes demosthenes was a classic orator, i.e., rhe-to-ric all i remember about him from high school classics was he trained his speaking voice by filling his mouth with stones may i ask you (since the subject is slightly off) why do you ask? if someone raised the topic with you, it may be an implied criticism of your style of argument; when i was in school i also learned to question authority (demosthenes is one such authority) the recieved wisdom of tropical astrology is another such received wisdom I question it; *
Guest guest
Hi, Yes, the reason I asked is that the Skull and Bones society of Yale holds Demosthenes as their divine spirit. All the Bushies and John Kerry are members of this illustrious secret society that boasts the elite of the elite. Skull and Bones was originally the " Eulogian Club, " and I was hoping maybe you could enlighten us on the darker side of Demosthenes, as you have offered short dissertations on Greeks in the past.
