If astrologers would only think a little, they're realize that they are doing a lot of 'double-think,' because events in the real world aren't matching their astrological theories. I don't know what all the Tropical astrologers are saying about the transit of Pluto through Tropical Sag, for example. But think a moment: Pluto is transiting the sidereal sign of Scorpio at present (though at its northern latitude, its ...where?....between the legs of Ophiuchus, the Serpent Holder. Well, according to Tropical astrologers Scorpio rules sex and money. We've had MAJOR exposure of molestation in the Catholic Church, numerous lawsuits, political sex scandals, Enron and related. All about sex and/or money. Can we pin this on Pluto's transit of sidereal Scorpio? Maybe. Uranus is just moing into Sidereal Aquarius. I've begun tracking film releases as possibly related to Uranus and signs of the zodiac. There's a whole new flock of fantasy and mythic TV programs and films out there: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Steven Speilberg's two week TV epic on UFO/abductions (Taken), the release of the second set of Star Wars films, and so on. Does this have anything to do with Uranus entering Aquarius? Maybe. Depends on the major films released during the transit of Uranus through earlier zodiac signs. What were the main themes of the films? >So, that being said.........I would surely LOVE to look at your >book. How might I find it? Not published an in need of revision. Maybe some of it will go on a web site. I have the web site, only no time to get material into HTML format. >(I can't believe the elements have no place!!!) The elements have their place, only they belong to he planets rather than the signs: Moon and Venus=water; Mars and the Sun=fire; Saturn is air in the Indian system: It's cold and dry. > I wonder if there >is place in the astrology community for people like me, who seem to >just deal with Tropical concepts but with the astronomical placements >that sidereal offers. This type of thinking is going to create a a big mess, at least if you're talking about the psychology of the signs. But concepts like Scorpio (supposedly ruling the genitals of the body) just might have meaning related to historical events. And the Age of Pisces and the BIG CHURCH....and so on. Got to run. Maybe I'll have computer time tonight. Please excuse typing errors. I'll try to get to the rest of your post tonight, Robin. Terese

If you want to send me your birth data I'll look at your chart in light of what you say about yourself. In public on this board or in private. Your chice. But I won't talk about asteroids. And I try to keep my posts short because I have a lot of work I'm trying to finish up...like research and getting some articles on a web page. And then there's Real Life. That needs time too. >So.......do ya think I should study Vedic and the dasas??!!!! I'd get your sign and planet theory worked out first. And the square Indian charts are the pits. >I do follow you every step of the way! Thank you, Robin. I strive to be clear in what I say, even if it turns out later to be a shade (or more) from the truth. Terese
