But it's true...if you call up, say, all the charts with Sun in Aries, you will get NOTHING that supports any Aries doctrine in either zodiac. >I wish you would have simply answered my original question about why >MJF's tropically " exalted " moon conjunct domiciled Venus was somehow >irrelevant. Hmmmm....I thought I answered that. I would expect an exalted Moon conjunct Venus (which is the dispositor of the Moon) in its domocile to be excellent for health. But if the Moon is in Aries and Mars is in Cancer, then I'd expect problems with mind or physical health or longevity because the Moon is in mutual reception with an angular Mars in its fall. (And this Mars is conjunct Uranus...I found this Mars-Uranus-Moon interchange in many of the Parkinson's charts.) In your sidereal, this conjunciton is in Aries, which is >not a good place for Venus or Moon, right? It's neutral, neither good nor bad in itself. It's the mutual reception that points to the health problem in Michael's chart. Sidereal astrology, at least the Indian version, doesn't use detriments as they would conflict with the doctrine of 100 percent strength for an exalted planet (by degree) gradually falling away to the exact opposition which has zero strength (not considering other factors). Zero strength probably means no strength to do good. Re: psychology, the Moon conjunct Venus is just that: Venus influence on the Moon. I don't think the sign matters at all. It might matter if Venus were in Virgo. I'll have to check that one out. We've got an interesting debate going here, Ed. You believe there is essentially no zodiac, and I'm dedicated to somehow showing that there IS a zodiac and that it works. So far you have most of the cards. I've been thinking: How WOULD a person convince someone that the zodiac has real significance? Not as easy as it might seem. Cheers!
