Guest guest
Dear Chris Wing of Austin, TX, The Sagittarian candor and well deserved reputation for great good humor shine throughout your post of introduction! Thanks for making me giggle on a day that began dismally, from an the emotional stand point. Can't make paragraphs with this Webtv keyboard, so must ramble on in one, unbroken heap of words to next point. I was not aware of the 5 degrees Leo connection to short leaders in history - how cool! Also, I am not well up to speed on astrology at present and wonder if you'd mind telling me what Regulus is - a star, maybe? Is its position found in a current ephemeris? I wish you a few cool breezes in Austin this weekend, as my recollection of the city is that there are precious few. Guest guest
Dear Mike, Thanks for taking the time to post a reply to my request for others' experiences in coming to Sidereal astrology. It sounds as if you've thought long and rationally before adopting this approach over the Tropical option, and also as if your choice might have been influenced by some (or a lot of) hard science background in astronomy. I am mysteriously driven to attempt to find relationships between people's planets, their charts and the manner in which they view the world and navigate within it. If you wish , please comment on how/if your chart reflects how you see yourself as a person. A joyous weekend to you and yours, Katie

Guest guest
Dear Katie, When first attending the San Francisco School Of Sidereal Astrology (way back when) with teacher John Mazurik, he took one look at me and stated that I had Mars rising in Aquarius. Actually my natal Mars is about 13 degrees above my ASC. but both in Aquarius, anyway I was impressed with his accuracy and almost immediately became a devoted student of Sidereal Astrology; with Cyril Fagan's natal Sun 8Tau34 inter-aspects my natal Sun 8Tau53 My natal Mercury 27Tau55 inter-aspects Fagans natal Mercury 29Tau22, while both of our Mercury's are Angular at my natal I.C. 29Tau. So it is quite easy for me to tune into Fagan's writing and thought processes, like a sponge, absorbing Fagans splendid research on Sidereal Astrology. I must confess to being a somewhat of a fanatic Faganite. Because of lacking in objectivity when reading my own chart, I much prefer to read others. For more info on Fagan's writings, check out Kay Cavender's " Sidereal Home Page " or the book " Primer on Sidereal Astrology " by Cyril Fagan. What is your take on your own chart?
