Guest guest
Hello Rick, We'll go with a 9 Sag asc for you. Just 9 deg natal with the Fagan-Allen ayanamsa, 9-53 with Lahiri, 9-59 with Krishnamurti. So this puts Gemini with Venus on the navamsa ascendant. >Ahem, " sexual preference? " Orientation is more correct. Oh, sorry! I moved away from the San Franciso area 7 years ago. I'm a bit out of it. Don't watch much TV either. > and about 95 >percent of a large large circle of friends have died. I have >experienced a lot of death in my life: for ten straight years, I >averaged losing one every six months. Factor in parents, that's a >lot! Sometimes I feel like Shirley MacLaine in What a Way to Go! I'm happy you can see a little wry humor in your losses. These years have been so very difficult for anyone who is gay. A book I've read by Mary Summer Rain says that the entire AIDS event was purposely engineered against a specific group and has nothing to do with being gay. I believe her. She's psychic. If you use the Fagan-Allen system, then you probably don't use houses as such. I would place this tremendous emphasis on death on Uranus in the 8th with dispositor Moon in 12 conjunct Saturn and Rahu. (But I do a lot of questioning of the traditional use of houses.) And Venus is friends in general, anyone we care for. It's with Pluto in the natal chart and square the nodes in the navamsa chart (True node...The true vs mean node is another point of contention, and rather crucial in determining your navamsa.) For the natal chart I use the 'equal Indian' house system, the degree of the asc in the center(cusp) of each house. So 9th cusp is 9 Cancer, Ur at 13 Cn. Navamsa is sign-as-house. >Much more the latter! (like a Rock of Gibralter) Taking a different view than I had before, I guess I'd connect this with the asc lord Jupiter in fixed Leo opposed by Mars from fixed Aquarius. Also there's a lot of fixidity in the navamsa chart: Moon-Sat Leo; Mer-Aq; Jup-Nep Sc opposed by Pl-Ta. >Not sports minded at all (hate the outdoors!). Have always worked >for magazines: editing, writing, design. This would support Venus on a navamsa Gemini ascendant, combined with the prominent natal Mercury in Virgo. Design and the comfort of the indoors is related to Venus. >Not Mars-Sun, I would think. This would eliminate a navamsa Cancer asc which has the Sun in Cn squared by Mars from Aries. >Venus with a bit of unusual shading? I >do not understand that one! With the world's traditional values, this would be gay relationships: Venus on the navamsa asc square the nodes. This combination could also express in other unconventional ways for other individuals. A porn actress, for example. Someone who is a victim of molestation, many losses in relationships, etc. The basic meaning of Venus with the nodes is that 'something' about relationships won't be according to accepted convention. So if you were trying to blind guess which of a group of charts belonged to gays or heterosexuals, you would notice Venus/node contacts, esp. in the navamsa chart. O.K, now for the indicators of male homosexuality: (1) According to the old western astro aphorisms, being gay is connected to certain combinations involving Venus, Saturn and Mercury and their signs. (I'll have to look up the exact aphorism.) I've also noticed that the Moon's nodes and Pluto seem to be strongly related to the gay orientation. Also very frequently there is a Mars-Moon contact. All these have to be put together in showing a gay orientation. So in your natal chart we have: a. Venus conjunct Pluto squared by Saturn, and Venus in square aspect to the nodes (exact with the mean nodes). The fact that Venus is conjunct your asc lord highlights this combination and its importance in your life. b. Mars is square the Moon-Saturn combination and opposes Pl-Ve-Ju. Increases the masculine energy associated with Venus (sexual partners). BUT...everyone born with a Sag asc on the day you were born won't be gay. So these are only hints or suggestions. c. There is very little about your natal 7th lord Mercury that would hint at homosexuality as far as I can see. In the natal chart being gay is all connected with Venus and the fact that Venus (and its configuration) is connected to your asc. lord. (Another general hint is that from the navamsa chart, the mean north node is conjunct natal 7th lord Mercury. Mercury itself has no feminine contacts. It's in a male sign, conjunct two male planets, and receives the quincunx aspect from Mars.) I know that the western sidereal system mainly uses close aspects, but I'm talking about Jyotish aspects. (2) THE NAVAMSA CHART a. The higlight of this chart is the Venus square nodes configuation, since Venus is in the ascendant. We know that Venus-node concerns would be of great importance in your life. Venus-node or node-7th contacts are very common in gay charts. North node only in 7th. Ketu-So node seems to be connected more to lesbian charts. b. In the navamsa chart Jupiter is the 7th lord and is opposed by Pluto from a Venus sign. Jupiter is also squared by Moon-Saturn. (So we have both Pluto and Sat connected to the 7th.) c. Also Rahu/Sat/Moon cross from the natal chart onto Jup, nav 7th lord. (Ra-Sa again) c. The dispositor of Venus in the asc. is Mercury in a Saturn sign opposed by Saturn itself. (Ve-Sa-Me contact) d. 7th lord Jupiter is at the t-square point of the Mer-Aq/Sat-Mo opposition...and Mer disposits Venus. So all of the gay indicators are there tied together through Venus, the dispositor of Venus and the 7th lord. This analysis only applies to a Gemini navamsa ascendant. Rick, you must have many gay horoscopes in your collection. You can check this all out: Venus-Saturn-Mercury and their signs interconnected in some way. Mars-Moon contact (supporting configuration only) Pluto-nodes connected in some way to navamsa 7th and/or Venus. In general (not always) a lack of lunar contact to relationship indicators, since the Moon is women. Lesbian charts will have lots of Venus/Moon contacts to the 7th. Venus-nodes can also be the loss of loved ones. In the navamsa Saturn is lord of the 8th in the final degree squared by Pluto in a final degree, and these are configured with Mercury, asc lord and dispositor of Venus. Notice!! No mention of Uranus. (Except Uranus in 8th, the natural sign of the genitals.) Rick, if you have a question about what shows another chart to be gay, I'll be happy to look at it, whenever I have time. Sexual orientation is fairly clear in about 80 percent of timed horoscopes.
