Guest guest
Just a word about terms. Both the Western Sidereal Astrology and the Vedic (Hindu) astrology are called sidereal. Meaning the sidereal (stary) zodiac. However the systems differ about the exact start of the sidereal zodiac and being about 2 or 3 degrees of difference. The Western Tropical system is based upon the Tropical system or upon the degrees of continually changing equinoctal points. Over the centuries the tropical point has now moved ahead of the sidereal by about 35degrees. Therefore your sign could be different in both systems. So while the vedic zodiac is close to the same as the Western sidereal sysstem regarding that position, there is a world of difference in the complete viewpoints and interpretations (particularly) and backgrounds of the two systems. The vedic is being very intricate and difficult for the westerner to understand. I hope this will help the newcomer a little. Cheers, Royale
