Their origin is from Babylonian Zodiac (which was sidereal, same value as Fagan-Allen SVP) 786 BC, the golden year of astrology. The new year chart of the Babylonians, the Hypsomata, was April 3, -786 BC 18:30 PM Babylon. In this year all the planets were in their exaltation degrees heliacally. The inner planets will annually reach these points, SUN 19 ARIES MOON 3 TAURUS MERCURY 15 VIRGO VENUS 27 PISCES while the outer planets happen not too often MARS 28 CAPRICORN JUPITER 15 CANCER SATURN 21 LIBRA URANUS 9 SAGITTARIUS NEPTUNE 18 AQUARIUS PLUTO 18 CANCER Using these degrees tropically is a great misconception due to the fact that there was no tropical version in use during that epoch of origin.
