Guest guest
Hello, Kevin. I have written a long piece comparing the horoscope of Islam with the USA Boyd chart (6 July 1775), done completely in the Fagan/Bradley sidereal zodiac, and I thought you might be interested in taking a look at it: http://www.expreso.co.cr/centaurs/posts/islamboyd.html The only caveat is that it uses heavily some of the centaurs. This may discourage some people. I thought sidereal astrologers might give some value to the work I did., but since many of the things I said provoked angry responses, I hope that if you also feel that my negative comments about the US policy in the Middle East are offensive, you can accept my apologies and ignore my invitation. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I never did like the usual 7-4 chart as nothing ever correlated right. I just glanced it over, but will have to print it out and study it more closely. I have recently started to use the Boyd USA chart myself, and have been greatly impressed by its effectiveness. For instance, the SSR chart for 2001, based on the Boyd data, features Mars/Pluto conjunction near the IC (terrorist attack on American homeland!), opposing Saturn / Venus near the MC. Thus, in the SSR chart, we have the pertinent Ma/Pl-180-Sa most appropriately in the foreground. BTW, I get even better results with the Boyd chart, if I use a slightly later event time than the 11.00 AM. 11.20 AM LMT seems to give better progressed indications for this and many other events. For instance, using the latter time, the progressed AS of the Boyd chart would now be squaring the 6th house prog.Mars and soon conjuncting the 9th house Jupiter, activating the current planetary progression (p.Mars-90-r.Ju). But other things show clearly with this chart, also. How about Ju/Ur/Pl at the IC of 1969 SSR for the Lunar landing -- raising once more the US flag onto a new ground! In addition, tr. Uranus and Jupiter were criss-crossing the AS of the Boyd chart at the time of the landing (July 24th, 1969). Also, at the time the prog. MC opposed natal Sun and prog. AS squared progressed Sun/Pluto - conjunction (all prog. angles non-Bija, sorry!). In the 1963 SSR (ruling the period of JFK assassination) Ur/Pl-conjunction sandwiches the MC of the chart with Mars not very far from Pluto, either. Moon and Saturn are in close conjunction (public mourning), squaring the AS of the SSR chart and echoing the then current prog.Sa-0-radix Moon configuration (orb less than 10'). Yes, the Boyd chart seems to reflect many events most accurately. Risto Vartiainen
