Guest guest
Well, I must admit that accuracy is not my strong point. One source said Mars entered Capricorn on Thursday, another said today. Regardless, the point is that Mars is entering Capricorn. In Vedic astrology, the cusp or most important degree of a sign is not 0 degrees, but 15 degrees. This means that the center of the sign is the source of that sign. When you get to the edges, it is more blurry. So you could say that Mars is somewhere between Sagittarius and Capricorn. It is in the doorway. When you look up into the night sky, can you see the point where Sagittarius becomes Capricorn? Probably not. But you are more certain that you are looking at Sagittarius the closer you get to the center of the constellation. My work with astrology is about regions of potential. But I do appreciate people that have a better knack for accuracy. Keeps me honest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ David Ray Woodstock, NY 12498 bluerodent ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ----Original Message Follows---- jeff clark <jeffrey.j.clark Re: Re: Outer Planets Sun, 21 Oct 2001 11:38:29 -0400 blue rodent wrote: > Mars is now exalted in Capricorn. David, I am using Halloran software to produce sidereal charts - I have the Delta set at 3 degrees and 8 minutes EAST per a friend's suggestion. These settings produce a chart which has Mars currently at 28 Sag. Jeff.
Guest guest
Dear All, David, In accordance to my Michelsen ephemeris, Mars is entered Capricornus a few days ago. The start of the Afghanistan ground war Thursday/Friday proves to me the influence of the begindegree. In one of the emails Fagan Allan is considered minor qua technic.I am greatly surprised to read that, because I practice their experiences and ayamsa in my program " Janus " . I am content. Focussing/reading the 15th degree of each sign I must admit that I am surprised about the positive interpretation of these degrees. Then I consider the degrees of Esther Leinbach. There is difference between the published fixed stars in the tropical lists and the sidereal list of fixed stars. A noted sidereal astrologer in USA explained the difference. Helas I cannot repeat the clou of it, but the logic put me at ease and the explanation in my program " Janus " from Australie connected with the native's chart proves to be valuable to me. Have a good time this week as far as possible! Regards Anny Well, I must admit that accuracy is not my strong point. One source said Mars entered Capricorn on Thursday, another said today.
