Guest guest
Hello, Folks, Just learned about this group a couple of days ago. So here's my background: Started studying astrology in 1968. " Switched " to sidereal in 1971, when I got Fagan and Firebrace's _Primer of Sidereal Astrology_ Had always felt, looking at my tropical chart, that " Maybe I haven't grown or evolved into it. " Then I looked at my sidereal chart and said, " Yeah, that's me. " For better or for worse. Was an early member of R.O.S.A., the Registry of Sidereal Astrologers. I'm not one of the rabid, in-your-face siderealists. I have presented particularly the sidereal CapSolar Ingress chart and its indicators of events for about 10 years; first on pre-web GEnie's Astrology Roundtable, more recently on Delphi's Zodiac Forum. With the especially appropriate planetary symbolism on the CapSolar and its event quotidians (Q1 rate), I often remind the mostly tropical astrologers that the CapSolar is set for a moment of time only significant in the sidereal zodiac, not in the tropical. Just a little tweaker and reminder for them. Most recently a cyber-friend started her own web site and asked me if I'd like to present the Sidereal Side of events, interpretations, etc. It's www.astrologyworldonline.com. I'm looking forward to communicating with other Fagan-Bradley siderealists, and even some Jyotish practitioners. Guest guest
Hello group, I've been lurking in the group for a couple weeks now, and thought this would be a good time to follow up and introduce myself also! I don't have a huge history with astrology, or sidereal astrology, at all really. I've been interested in tropical stuff since about 1995(?) and just happened upon this sidereal group. I had just started trying to draw my own charts and interpret them before I " discovered " sidereal so it really shocked and confused me. I have dug through the resources listed in the group a bit, downloaded the packaged files, though they are a bit above my level right now. I also decided to download some software that will show the sidereal chart, but I do not think you can just browse by sidereal sign... Anyway, I guess my biggest questions now are really quite simple. Are there any sites that have a sidereal ephemeris? I eventually plan on making a sidereal site that has the language a bit toned-down to try and take a bit of an edge of the tropical astrologers online. Well, have a great week everyone. --------------- Ryan Curtis Weal Somewhat Astrologer Vancouver, British Columbia pubman +1 604 839 7200 --------------- on 9/19/01 10:59 AM, Matthew Quellas at mquellas wrote: > Hello, Folks, > > Just learned about this group a couple of days ago.
