I just joined the group yesterday, and when I got home I discovered a

letter of mine was published in this month's issue of " Venture

Inward " (an Association for Research and Enlightenment magazine based

on the Edgar Cayce Readings - circulation of 23,000). My letter

pointed out that the A.R.E. was in direct conflict with the Cayce

readings by offering only " tropical " astrological charts and

literature; and I proposed they follow Cayce's astrological advice as

precisely as they follow his health remedies, and use the " sidereal "

measurement.

It's frustrating that a large company that should know better does

something just because everyone else does it that way. Kudos to the

rest of the members of this group who do their part to enlighten the

world. - Hilary

Hilary, is it possible to obtain a copy of your letter? I belonged to the

ARE for many years and have done a lot of research on Cayce's astrology. I

have the Cayce CD with all the readings. I've written some articles on his

astrology, and yes, I always use the sidereal zodiac.

Sincerely,

Terese

If you study Cayce's readings carefully, he referred sometimes to the

tropical signs and sometimes to the actual constellations. He said several

times that the signs should be put in the " Persian calendar " rather than the

Egyptian because the Egyptian system was about 30 degrees off.

It's rather complicated, but it did seem that Cayce was recommending the

sidereal zodiac. I started an article on the calendars and astrology, but

the ARE wasn't interested. Didn't even reply to my inquiry or mention the

manuscript I sent. I've done a lot of research on the old astrological

systems. The first zodiac was, of course, linked to the constellations

rather than the seasons and was in use during the Persian period in Mesopotamia.

Hi everyone. I pointed all the time " the ayanamsa " is 30 degrees off

,behind,

the tropical system. That is a fact.

When Cayce said the signs were approximately 30 degrees off, that could

easily mean 24, 25, 26, degrees or whatever. Any of the existing ayanamsas

might be the correct one. The proof of an ayanamsa is in the varga

(sub-charts). Research on the navamsa is fascinating, especially for

homosexuality and AIDS (mainly because there is so much data available on

these). I believe that you can zero in on the ayanamsa to within a few

seconds. Certain planets are in the 7th or related to the 7th and Venus.

I'm starting this research all over again since Lois Rodden's computer

database is now available with the best data possible.
