Guest guest
Does anyone out there have insights into the nature of Moon/Rahu cnjs? I've seen a lot of famous people's charts with them, but I hardly have any of personal acquaintances. So, if you have a whole stack of charts of people you know that have that, I'd be profoundly interested in how you see it working in the personality. I'm not interested in any aspect except the cnj. My observation of Rahu/Ketu is this: RA seems outgoing, noticable, attention getting; KE seems withdrawn, invisible, diminished. RA takes in; KE gives out. This wld. seem to be contrary to the traditional Vedic description of them, which is that RA is like Saturn; Ketu like Mars. To me it seems more like RA is like a hyped- up Jupiter (perhaps a Jupiter aspected by Mars) and KE seems more like Saturn. What do you all think? They're both considered " malefic " in the Hindu system, but quite frankly, almost everything is considered malefic in that system and malefic/benefic is all relativistic, so... phooey. I just want to know the true dynamic; the nitty-gritty. Thanks to anyone who can help. Bettina Woolard
Guest guest
Hi- My grand daughter's chart may fit the bill - Moon/Rahu conj. Her dob is 1-11-94 - 10:51 p.m. Chico, CA. You'll find her chart quite interesting, believe me! I'd like to hear what you have to say about her chart - talk about conjunctions !! Guest guest
Ive always felt that Rahu - Ketu is this strange force. Rahu gives tons of stuff but does not have much discernment as to what the person may want or need or whether it is good or bad for them, much like a great big carnival or garage sale. So you have to constantly sift through the garbage in the hopes of finding what you really want which often isnt there. Also Rahu craves attention and has lots of energy although I think it is usually nervous energy. Ketu takes everything away. In that sense it is the great cleanser. Unfortunately it tends to take everything away including the good stuff. Ketu likes to hide and tends to be " invisible " . donna Does anyone out there have insights into the nature of Moon/Rahu cnjs? I've seen a lot of famous people's charts with them, but I hardly have any of personal acquaintances. So, if you have a whole stack of charts of people you know that have that, I'd be profoundly interested in how you see it working in the personality. I'm not interested in any aspect except the cnj. My observation of Rahu/Ketu is this: RA seems outgoing, noticable, attention getting; KE seems withdrawn, invisible, diminished. RA takes in; KE gives out. This wld.seem to be contrary to the traditional Vedic description of them, which is that RA is like Saturn; Ketu like Mars. Guest guest
Dear Donna, Great analogiy of Rahu and Ketu's rather extreme opposites - will be keeping this for the Notebook - thanks! Very best - Sateesh. ============= - " Donna M " <jyotish_d 22 June 2000 00:51 Re: Moon/Rahu conjunctions > Ive always felt that Rahu - Ketu is this strange > force.
