When I did Sylvia's sister's natal chart, I got an Ascendant of 29Sag48. I haven't done the PSSR's yet, but I definitely found accident indicators in the Solar Quotidian for Sylvia's sister for April 26. To get the Solar Quotidian time, I first determined the number of days between the last Sidereal Solar Return and the day of the accident by subtracting the SSR's Julian Date value from the accident date's (integers only) and found 156 days had passed. I then multiplied 3hrs56min by 156, which resulted in 10hrs13min36sec. Adding this to the SSR's sidereal time (23:58:26), I discovered the sidereal time of the SQ would be 10:12:02, which was at 7:44PM PST. Using the cusps of this chart (location: Sylmar, CA) to compare the SQ to the natal chart, I found the following planets within three degrees of conjuncting or squaring an angle: Natal Sun (squares SQ MH) Natal Mars (conjuncts SQ IC) Natal Uranus (conjuncts SQ Dsc & squares SQ Uranus) SQ Mars (conjuncts SQ Dsc) SQ Uranus (squares SQ Asc) Also possibly worth mentioning: SQ Mercury inconjunct SQ Asc SQ Mars opposite Natal Sun SQ Mars trine Natal Neptune SQ Saturn conjunct Natal Uranus SQ Pluto conjunct Natal Mercury SQ Asc sextile Natal Asc SQ North Node trine Natal Sun Later, Kevin/Baraka
Guest guest
Hi Sylvia, For what it's worth, under SATVA (Systems Approach to Vedic Astrology), I would place your sister as late Sag rising, instead of early Cap. The reasons are these: 1) Under SATVA, the malefics for a Sag are Rahu (N. node), Ketu (S. node), and the Moon (due to ownership of the 8th). 2) The primary significators for vehicles for Sag are Venus and Mars. 3) Both transit Venus and Mars are in extreme infancy on the day of the accident, making protection to the signification of vehicles very weak. 4) Under SATVA, Rahu casts aspects to the 5th, 7th, and 9th houses relative to his own position. On Apr 26th, Rahu was in the house of death-like situations (8th), aspecting natal Jupiter in the house representing vehicles (4th house). This aspect was within approximately 1 degree using true nodes. 5) She was running a Ma-Ju period, according to Vimshottari dasa, which would accentuate the extreme transit weakness of Mars in the malefic 6th house, and the affliction to natal Jupiter within the house of vehicles. That would be my take on the chart and event. Under Cap rising, no accident would have occurred. Ron Grimes Sylvia Linzner [sylviall] Wednesday, June 14, 2000 9:43 AM Equal Houses Hi, Everybody My name is Sylvia, I just joined your group a few weeks ago. My sister had an automobile accident, april 26,2000 about 12:30 pm her birth information is Nov. 22, 1939 in Los angeles ,Calif. 33n48 118w09 at 10:33:28 am PST. She broke her nose, and got whiplash, any way in her pssr Campanus Chart there is nothing angular, so I tried equal houses and that puts her natal Neptune right on the 10th house angle, Neptune rules her natal 3rd house. In her solar return for the year Mars and Neptune are angular. I used Solar Fire astrology program Allen Edwall has a free astrology program called Astrowin which tells you what planets are strong in your chart. Her natal Neptune is stronger than her natal Mars. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Sylvia
