Where is this person's Saturn? Saturn " rules " Capricorn in traditional Western astrology. _Any_ person, regardless of sun sign, will have at least a few " Capricorn " traits if they have a strongly placed Saturn. Which reminds me: Go through any astrology book and compare " Sun in <sign> " with " Sun <aspects> <ruler of Sign> " and see how similar they are. > I've been thinking about the points you've commented like the midpoint > between Sun and Moon. Midpoints were discovered earlier this century by German astrologers, with the bulk of the research being done by Reinhold Ebertin. Each pair of planets or planet & point has a " halfway " point between them. Planets which make partile " hard " aspects (including semi-octiles) to a midpoint are said to " hit " it. The result is very much like a triple conjunction between the two planets forming the midpoint and the planet that " hits " it. The Sun-Moon midpoint is the most important, IMO. For more details, get Ebertin's _Combination of Stellar Influences_ -- it's not often such a great book stays in print!
