" Sidereal " means " uses the constellations " . While there's a 5 out of 6

chance we'd disagree with the Tropicalists as to _where_ you're Sun-Merc

conjunction takes place, we'd still call it a conjunction.

 

A Sun-Merc conjunction (the only major aspect these two can form) definitely

gives someone either technical or academic ability, as well as the ability to

communicate.

I would tend to agree that you'll have some " Gemini " in you. But also look

at what's on your Sun-Moon midpoint, what's anglular, and what makes aspects

to the angles.

Not exactly -- but Western Siderealists do owe India's jyotishis a great debt

for having kept the Sidereal Zodiac alive during the " dark age " of astrology

-- which, sadly, isn't over yet.

Cyril Fagan -- discovered that correcting for precession is the key to

accurate Solar and Lunar Returns.

 

Donald Bradley, aka Garth Allen -- While trying to disprove Fagan's work,

discovered that Fagan was right. Played a key role in determining the

" Fagan-Bradley " _ayanamsa_, which puts Spica at 29* 06' 05 " Virgo.

 

Both men made other contributions, too, but they're too numerous to mention

here.
