In my continuing inquiry into whether Siderealmakes more sense than

Tropical at least as far as the Sun Signs of famous individuals is

concerned, I would point out that Pablo Picasso

would be a Libra. I don't think so! Comments?

Hey, Breck!

Breck, have you ever done a solar or a return?

My main reason for going with the Sidereal Zodiac is that when you correct

for precession, you get a chart that accurately predicts the issues the

native will face during the coming month or year, depending on whether you're

doing a lunar or a solar return. They just don't work as well for the

Tropical Zodiac -- if they work at all.

But thanks for the Picasso birth data. I'll be checking it out over the

weekend.

Hi, Breck.

Well, I jumped the gun, and decided to check out Picasso's chart before going

to bed.

Things I'll mention now and go into detail on later:

1) Why couldn't Picasso have been a Libra? He was an artist, and Venus, the

planet of the arts, rules Libra.

2) His Sun, Moon, and Venus all form aspects to his ascendent. The

Ascendent is also the focus of a T-Square with the Sun and Neptune.

3) His Mercury opposes Jupiter, Chiron, and Pluto, influencing what he felt

he had to communicate.

4) Chiron opposes Picasso's Sun/Moon midpoint.

Later,

Kevin/Baraka
