Guest guest
Hi, Has KP categorically mentioned anywhere that planet in one house & another sign gives results of both houses? i.e. for example Mars in 9th house & 10th sign will give results of both 9th & 10th? Because many KP astrologers follow this theory that during its Dasha,Antra & bhukti it can give results of both houses because it occupies one house & another sign. Does it holds true? What is the experience of eminent KP Practioners here? Can somebody elaborate? Parag.
Guest guest
Dear Parag, K.P., clearly maintains that a planet very close to a cusp in one house, but a situated few degrees(within 3 degrees) into the next house, then this planet could give results of both houses...the sub will however decide for definite the extent to which this can take effect...in my humble opinion... Mr Raichur had,on this site perhaps, even given an example of this, fairly recently...if I remember right... With best wishes, Yours sincerely, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! parag_m_g <parag_m_g wrote: Hi, Has KP categorically mentioned anywhere that planet in one house & another sign gives results of both houses? i.e. for example Mars in 9th house & 10th sign will give results of both 9th & 10th? Guest guest
Dear Parag I do not know wether KSK has stated this specifically. When we find Significators of a House We consider the PLANETS IN THE HOUSE, and also LORD of the Sign of the House cusp. When we consolidate this to know which house A Planet Signifies, we consider the HOUSE in which it Resides, and also the Houses it Rules(by sign). So a planet will signify both. The degee of significance is not the same. good Luckparag_m_g <parag_m_g wrote: Hi,Has KP categorically mentioned anywhere that planet in one house & another sign gives results of both houses? i.e. for example Mars in 9th house & 10th sign will give results of both 9th & 10th?Because many KP astrologers follow this theory that during its Dasha,Antra & bhukti it can give results of both houses because it occupies one house & another sign.Does it holds true? Guest guest
Yes thats why I had this querry. Because nowhere it is mentioned By Guruji(I suppose). But many practioners after years of experience claim that planet in one house & another sign(i.e. adjacent house most of the times)gives results of both houses, but everybody is confused( & varied opinions) upto what extent? Ofcourse one method of deciding is taking into account Sub too! But in different Dashas for different persons results vary. So one cant fix any criterion in such case. Guest guest
Parag, I am a follower of 4 step theory of Mr.S.Gondhalekar and we consider the planet giving results of the next house if the Bhavarambh(i.e.beginning of the next house)is within 3'20 " of the next house even if the same is in the earlier house.(and may be in a different sign)It gives correct results. with regards, Sunil D.Joshi. --- parag_m_g <parag_m_g wrote: > Yes thats why I had this querry. Guest guest
Dear Parag, I donot think that there is any confusion here. Planet in any bhava is to give result of that bhava irrespective of sign it is in. Suppose Jupiter is in 9th bhava but it is in 10th sign then we have to see only 9th house signfication of Jupiter not of 10th. If you consider it would give wrong results. Guest guest
Dear Parag It is simple; Even if a Planet is mathematically in a House, but is within 3 deg 20 of the cusp of the Next house, then Consider it as though in the Next House. Guest guest
Dear Sesh In the chart sent MARS is within 3 deg. of the 1st Cusp. So it has given you the result of the 1st house, thouh 1st house is in a different sig. Check also the dasa/bhukti/antara of Mars. Has it given you results of 1st house or of 12th. If it is indicated results of 1st only then the rule formulated by practical experience can be deemed valid. good luck Sesh Krish <kseshadri_2000 wrote: Hi, I am enclosing my horoscope in the hope it helps the study. Guest guest
Dear friends, In my opinion any planet irresepective of its proximity to any cusp etc will give results of houses/placements of the star and sub where it is posted. That way we cannot check what results any planet [close to a cusp] is giving during its dasa. That way we have to see planets in the sub or star of such situatated planet. Now for giving results of both the bhavas, it may be correct to limited extent. Say Mars close to 1st cusp but in 12th bhava. Here Mars as it is situated in the first Rasi of the chart will give some characterstics of lagna bhava, and sitated close to 1st cusp it is giving results by conjunction effect. However, in very crucial matters to find ultimate results, we have to consider Mars in 12th only. Suppose some planet is situated in a sub which signfy Mars, then the planet will definately give the results of separation , loss etc. Inder , anant raichur <anant_1608> wrote: > Dear Sesh > > In the chart sent MARS is within 3 deg. of the 1st Cusp. Guest guest
Shreee Anantjee, I had given one horoscope in this forum for discussion about foreign journey. In that horoscope every planet is in next sign & earlier bhava. Lagna being Scorpio at the end(29 degrees & some minutes). But some planets in his life have given results of both houses. Whereas some planets have given results of only one house, where they are deposited. And yes it doesnt match with what somebody argued here that if the planet is nearer to next house then only the person get results of next house etc. Also about Punarpoo, in the same case Saturn is in sub of Moon (10th). But he got very good results whenever he had saturn bhukti etc. According to many old-timers KP Practitioners, punarpoo is considered only when saturn & moon are opposite to each other i.e. having 7th aspects. Again coming back to Planet in one house & another sign, Saturn in third house, 4th sign gave results of 4th not because its in 4th sign (thats what I feel) but because its in Jupiter star & jupiter is owner of 4th house which is empty. Whereas Mercury in 12th, jupiter in 8th always gave results of 12th & 8th inspite of being deposited in good(positive) sign, star & sub. Please go thru the archives & lets see whether past events match with your analysis. Myself is confused & thats why I raised this querry, I hope you understand. Guest guest
Judging from my own experience of my horoscope, the planet Mars located in 12th definitely brought about 12th house effects, like a change of place and loss of job during Mars dasa, and even catching fire of my dhoti but with no damage, Loss of job through voluntary retirement got financial benefit. Earlier during Venus dasa and Mars bhukti I lost my elder brother. Now as to whether Mars gave results of first house as it was close to the 1st house cusp. Answer is : In terms of personality, yes. I was and am assertive but has not suffered visibly from my assertiveness. I think we should also look for a horoscope where the planet is in 6th house but close to 7th cusp. Then figure out how it works in marriage/divore, agreements/breakdown etc.. Or for that matter combination of 11th house and 12th house. That is located in 12th house but close to 11th cusp. Then find out how they work. My humble submission. Theoretical discussion can get tiring. Learning takes place with practical cases. Learn as it happens and share. May be create a box of pending issues and index them. And as a group member finds a practical experience to substantiate or contradict a particular opinion/stand, he can bring it to the group. Sure we can continue with open ended discussion also as long as every one enjoys it. Guest guest
Dear Shree Parag In Astrology No rule is 100 percent valid at all times. There are exceptions to almost all rules. So one has to go by his own experiences and decide how and where to apply a rule. Guest guest
Dear Sesh I agree that we look at practical cases, and learn. Now in your case, Mars is in 12th but very close to 1st . A division could be made, (a) When the sign does not change (b) when the sign changes. Your case will be under (b), so we may assume that in such a case, results of both houses will manifest. In case of (a) where sign does not change, the practical experience of planet giving the Next house results, may be tested out by practical cases. good luck Sesh Krish <kseshadri_2000 wrote: Judging from my own experience of my horoscope, the planet Mars located in 12th definitely brought about 12th house effects, like a change of place and loss of job during Mars dasa, and even catching fire of my dhoti but with no damage, Loss of job through voluntary retirement got financial benefit.
