Dear tw853,

There is no need to have any confusion about this. What is transfer?

It is a change of place of work but not in any change of job.

Therefore only houses 1, 3,10 and 12 are to be considered. What is the

reason?

1 = Represents the person who is transferred i.e., the self.

3 = short journey, change of place and residence.

10 = Present Job or employment.

11 = life in a different atmosphere or society or other place.

Since it is the question of transfer involving no change in job only

the 10th Cusp Sub Lord will decide this. The time factor will be

decided by the period Lords operating now and then and their

favourable transit.

Now if you want to know whether the change will involve change from

the present job, the houses 1,3,5,9,and 12 will operate. Here you will

find two more houses other than the ones mentioned above have come

into play – they are 5 and 9. 5 indicates change in the job

perspective and 9 involves change in the nature of job itself and also

shifting to a far off place being coupled with 12. Here 10 is omitted

altogether since he is not changing the place or job in the same

organization where he was working prior to transfer or shift. Here

also only the period lords and their transit will decide the matter.

The further questions connected with the above are:-

1. Transfer to a nearby place on promotion in the same job – the

houses that will be involved are – 1, 2, 3, 6, 10,11 and 12.

2. Transfer to a far off place on promotion in the same job – the

houses that will be involved are = 1,2,3,6,9,10,11 and 12.

You may observe that in the both the above cases house 3 will operate.

Why? Both cases involves change of residence. In the second case house

9 is involved since the shift is to a far off place.

The next question for the above is which Cusp is to be examined. For

(1) the 10th cusp sub Lord itself will decide. For the (2) mainly the

12th Cusp and secondarily the 10th Cusp should be the guiding factor.

Why? In the (1) case the change will not take him to a far off place

whereas in the (2) the transfer may take him to a Foreign Country also

– and this is the reason for examining the 12th Cusp.

I hope I have made the position clear.

GOOD LUCK

reasoning.
