Guest guest
Dear Rangarajan, I would like to answer your question based on my experience.I believe an atheist( who is really an atheist ) but who is proficient in astrology is more near to the truth than a superstitous devotee astrologer.I know a Muslim youngman( a hardcore rationalist , but having faith in astrology, and an extremely decent guy)I saw many(almost all) of his predictions(traditional astrology), unbelievable and amazing, coming correct. Very few, who were near to him knew, he had such expertise in astrology. He did it as a hobby and never charged even a single paise for his service.Nor he was after any sort of publicity. He never believed in any remedial measures. And the most interesting part is he predicted his own death in advance, which came correct to the month. If not, he should not study theclient's chart. These observations indicate that astrology is more than a Science. Myquestion is "Can astrology, in particular KP system, be practised byan atheist?"Regards,Rangarajan Too much spam in your inbox? Mail gives you the best spam protection for FREE!http://in.mail. I certainly believe, like you, that being pious, showing repect to theTeacher, etc. are desirable traits in any human being, not just anastrologer.I am sure you have read in KSK Readers (and perhaps elsewhere) "Whocan become an astrologer?". For argument's sake suppose we take aperson's horoscope and find that he is fit to be a good astrologer. But that person is an atheist. Are these two incompatible?I do not know if in real life you would see any astrologer who is nota believer in God. But the question is academic, so can be dismissedany time, if found frivolous.Regards,Rangarajan , "Balaji G.krishnan"<balaji_g_krishnan> wrote:> Dear Rangarajanji> > I might give some sentences in caps letter.Dont take it serious andit is to high light the points.Go ahead.> > I am happy that you are trying to find a good solution for thelongtime issue of rectification of birth time.> > Jyotish means light of knowledge.A person practising astrology isdeemed to be a god in the ancient days and it is thats why calleddivine science.Still scientists are arguing and some modern orultra-modern people dont see it as scientific tool.IT IS A GREATACHIEVEMENT DONE BY OUR GURUJI..GREAT GURUJI SRI K.S.KJI who madepeople to understand that it is science.Yes,thats why someuniversities have added K.P as a subject.MANY professionals arereading and using K.P as a wonderful tool.> > VIDYA BAKTHI..GURU BAKTHI ARE TWO EYES FOR ANY PROFESSION.> > I am not saying that athiest or crticiser cannot practise. He canpractise and still be good among public but ultimately the karma worksand whatever does he reaps in the future.I have seen many person whoare not pious and having good habits are successful but ultimately godwho watches us all afrom above will take his chance one day usingvarious techniques he knows.> > Whats the use of being not an athiest and pious..He will attain goodwill of the society.I WILL CALL K.P IS ONLY SUBJECT WHICH STRESSESCLEARLY AND MAKES EVERYBODY TO UNDERSTAND THE KARMA AND EFFECTS OFKARMA.MANY PRANAMS TO GURUJI.> > WHAT YOU SOW IS WHAT YOU REAP.FAITH IS 1000 TIMES POWERFUL THAN ANYMOUNTAINS.SRADHA BAKTHI SAMANVITAHA.> > MUSIC,ASTROLOGY,DANCE LIKE ALL DIVINE THINGS SHOULD BE BLESSED BYGOD.ALL ARE NOT AWARDED BY GOD LIKE WE DO IN THIS UNIVERSE.HE KNOWSHOW TO GRADE AND HOW TO DEGRADE.> > Everything happens in our life with the strong axis of mentalequilibrium and karma through dasa and bukthi it guides or diverts ouractions and see the end results.Thats why in jaimini system ofastrology they call a planet having more longitude is calledATMAKARAKA.Driver of soul.King of all.> > > Great Guruji K.S.K clearly tells on R.P that it is a divine thingwhich could help us and he even could not explain how it works..Thatswhy it is called divine science..But he takes the words of great Carljung's words as everything happens in a time by the influence of theplanets.> > Hope u got my words right.Athiest or preacher or pious or a ruffiananybody can do this as a profession but the output, result is as perthe karmic effect and god has the key.It will help anybody in thelongrun and good results ultimately if we stregnthen our mentalequilibrium force. It gives mental peace and clarity of thought whichare essential for a good astrologer.Thats why astrologers arerespected and refererred by kings and great personalities in this earth.> > Thanks and regards> Balaji G> > > > > Rangarajan Krishnamoorthy <ranga@m...> wrote:> Dear Members,> Here are a few observations by members in the past:> 1) For RPs to work, the astrologer must have a genuine urge at the> time of studying the chart.> 2) An astrologer must have faith in God.> 3) Shri.Kuppu Ganapathi has told me that before examining a client's> chart, an astrologer must consult his own chart first to see if> planets favour him at that time.
