This has been mentioned in the 1941 and 1942 ed but there is no mention of this in the 1952 ed. Therefore: I am quoting what Pt.Krishna Ashant ji has said in his book 'trik bhavanon ki gatha' " chhate ghar ka ketu chandra se bahut shaktishali hota hai. vaise bhi ketu chandra ke sath kisi bhi tarh ka sambandh qayam hone se use grahan laga deta hai. so chhate ghar pagal ho chuka yah kutta, chandra ke paani se bhi nahi marta. ulte chandra ke sath hone se uski ashubhta aur barh jati hai. shayad isi liye is ghar ke ketu ki ashubhta ko dur karne ke liye chandra ki madad vala koi upaya nahi hota" [ Trik bhavanon ki gatha ; page 46 ] Therefore to my mind the phrase ‘ poora Chandra grahan’ explains the relationship between the neech Ketu of the 6th house and the moon. Since the ketu in the 6th is considered as powerfully malefic, any association of the moon can cause ‘complete’ eclipse. As 6H and 2H are not favourable places of Ketu, in these houses Moon get spoiled , if Ketu is in 6H. If Moon is in other houses , Upaya of Moon will not improve Ketu if placed in 6H. Yes the 6th house is not favourable for Ketu because it is in the house of its debility. But the 2nd house is very favourable for ketu because it is not only in a pakka house of Jupiter [ its guru] but also in the house of its friend venus. Besides good results of Ketu in 2H ,the following effects are generally observed: 1. Native is not settled in life in Ketu dasa 2, It brings lot of ups and downs 3 .Mother is a worried person My comments basically keeping in view Moon.
