Through this act it is assumed that her Bidayee has been done a day before. The same is done at the time of disha-shool, the day when a travel is prohibited to that direction. Sometimes , father again invites her son-in law along with daughter , in that case also second Vida should take place next day. This is a age old days tradition and practise in Hindus.
