Guest guest
Dear Kulbir ji, You would love the way dasha and the antardasha have been worked out for the example kundali. The results [ phal ] of the dasha antar dasha has been explained through quoting the sanskrit classic on the subject. God bless you, Bhooshan Priya , kulbir bance <kulbirbance wrote: > > Respected pt ji; > > gratitude can not be expressed in words. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, As you know there is only one small paragraph in the Book introducing this topic; every Lal Kitab scholar has his own way of interpreting it. The real problem is that we do not have any documentary proof as to how this dasha system was used Pt. Roopchand ji. If we had any indication/proof we could have easily worked out as to how he had calculated the starting point for the dasha through reverse engineering. We do not believe that some body has already worked out the procedure and it is kept in a locker or a safe some where; or that Pt. Roopchand ji had left behind some notes explaining as to how this 35 year dasha system should be worked out. We believe that Pt. Roopchand ji had shared every thing known to him through these 5 editions. We have just these 5 books to find our solutions from. Therefore every one is trying to find out a solution according to his own understanding. Even those who had proposed the three possibilities, which we had not accepted, had taken the pains to study the problem; that itself is creditable. Similarly we have also proposed not only the procedure of how to work out the dasha but also the method of how to read the results of the dasha. It is for the Lal Kitab practitioners to accept it or not. As for the anomaly, the table on page 93 of the 1940 edition has been repeated in the subsequent editions of 1942 and 1952 also. That table is a simple example as to how the dasha record is to be kept or included in the horoscope while writing it. That table doesn’t throw any light as to how the dasha is to be worked out. If it is to be worked out on the basis of the ‘daura of planet’ [ planet reaching the throne first according to LK paddhati] then the concept of dormant or awakened planet becomes relevant and will have to be taken into account. If the dasha is to be worked out the way Vinshottari dasha and similar short dasha are worked out according to the Vedic system then the concept of dormant or awakened planet doesn’t arise. With regards, Varun Trivedi , kulbir bance <kulbirbance wrote: > > Varun ji, > > regarding the anamoly pointed out by pt bhooshanpriya ji in > the example quoted therein that mercury cannot operate during years > preceeding saturn because of being dormant. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, We agree with you that whatever we know we should share with every one. We also agree that Lal Kitab paddhati was brought into light by Pt. Roopchand ji otherwise it might have been forgotten and lost in the Hills of Northern India. Since Pt. Roopchand ji was a siddha, with intuitive skills, therefore he did not need any detailed instructions to work out any thing. We as mortals do need an elaborate and a clearly laid down procedure to do things. Pt. Roopchand ji shared with us what ever he got. But we suspect that he didn’t get the whole of it. There are quite a few gaps in between. It is these gaps that we are trying to decipher and fill in. Dasha system is one such gap. We believe that the Lal Kitab is in the stage of evolution, and thankfully so. This saved the Lal Kitab from getting fossilized like other classics. If the Lal Kitab is followed like a ready reckoner without applying any mind or logic , then it will also get fossilized. Our effort is to keep it alive and breathing; to make it grow. All these discussions are a step towards that. With regards, Varun Trivedi , kulbir bance <kulbirbance wrote: > > Varun ji; > > what exactly i mean to say is that the last eition of lalkitab was printed > in 1952, there is gap of 12 years between the last 2 editions. pt ji > practised this system and continued to do so untill he left this world. > didn't these grammar anamolies appear to him, did he deliberatetely chose to > turn a blind eye to it. or may i dare to say that even he didn't know how to > apply it exactly for he was an honest man and coldn't have tried to conceal > something. > this again retreiates that he honesty passed on all information that he had > alongwith unexplained portions that must have appeared/appealed for him to > write it down as it is so that someone can decipher its application some > later day. > in a way lalkitab's 1952 edition didn't conclude lalkitab, instead it > started the phenomenon to proceed, which got propelled by inernet. > some scholars have some rare insights into this and can be helpful but the > problem is there reputation is at stake if there views are not acceped and > they don't want to go by ananymous ids because they can't digest that there > knowledge or fruits of labour for years would be designated to some one non > existent and there explanation if accepted will go unrewarded. > one of my gurus whom i deeply respect cautioned me that i rather we should > not have raised this issue of 35 saala chakkar intill i/we were 100% sure > about it. > but with due regards to him knowing that we don't know; why don't accept the > fact and share wharever information we have. who knows someone may pick an > idea from the discussion and advance in this field. > when pt Roop lal ji shared all information whatever he had no matter the > source, what authority do we have to conceal even our OPINIONS on stuff > written therein > > regards and lot of respect > > kulbir > > > On 1/26/09, kulbir bance <kulbirbance wrote: > > > > Varun ji, regarding the anamoly pointed out by pt bhooshanpriya ji in > > the example quoted therein that mercury cannot operate during years > > preceeding saturn because of being dormant. Guest guest
Respected Bhooshanpriya ji, The procedure explained by learned LK scholar shri Yograj Prabhakarji as you have mantioned as below is correct as per my little understanding. : /////////// [ C ] An alternative procedure to draw up the 35 year dasha cycle system has been proposed known as the ‘grah ka daura’ solution. The premises of the solution are that: [a] which ever grah reaches the 1st house first will be taken as the operating planet from that year onwards for the 35 year dasha cycle. in case there are more than one grah reaching the throne [ 1st house ] then the grah starting the dasha will be decided according to the sequence of planets laid down for the 35 year dasha cycle. For example if both venus and the Saturn reach the first house then it is the venus which will be taken as the operating planet because the venus has a precedence over Saturn in the sequence. [c] If a planet reaches the 1st house in the 3rd year then the initial two years of the native will be supposed to be under the dasha of the planet preceding that reached planet in the sequence. /////////////// -- Now you have taken the example as follows : ////////// Now let us take up an example horoscope and see what happens : Horoscope : Fourth house : Saturn, rahu Fifth house : moon, mercury, venus Sixth house : sun , mars, jupiter Tenth house : ketu [ a common vedic astrology partial kal amrit / kal sarp horoscope] Saturn and rahu will be the first planets to reach the 1st house in the 4th year. Since the Saturn has precedence over rahu in the 35 year dasha cycle, therefore it will be the Saturn which will be assumed to operate from the 4th year till the 9th year. Then Rahu will take over for 6 years till the 15th year and then Ketu and so on. So far so good; no problem. Now let us work out the operating planets from birth till the 4th year before the Saturn takes over. The preceding planet to the Saturn in the 35 year dasha cycle is mercury. Now let us see whether mercury will be operative or not. If you notice mercury is a dormant planet ‘soya hua grah’. Now how can mercury be an operating planet if he himself is not awakened? Let us move to the next one preceding the mercury and that one is Mars. Unfortunately mars too is dormant. You will notice that we will have to move down all the way to Ketu because all the planets in between are dormant. Therefore ketu will be the operating planet for the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd year of the native. Thus the 35 year cycle of the native based on ‘grah ka daura’ solution will look like this : Ketu : 1 to 3 Saturn : 4 to 9 Rahu : 10 to 15 Ketu : 16 to 18 Jupiter : 19 to 24 And so on…. ////////////// [vijay]Their is no need to take ketu instead of mercury just because the planet is dormant. Here in this concept, the dasa starts with that planet which awakens first, it simply means that preceding planet will be at dormant before that dasa planet. It is not necessary that all planets in the complete dasa should be awakens. So dasa in your example will be : Mercury : 1 to 3 Saturn : 4 to 9 Rahu : 10 to 15 Ketu : 16 to 18 Jupiter : 19 to 24 and so on. Secondly the fix 35- dasa will be running simultaneously which is same for all horoscope. In LK three system of dasa cycle is mentioned which run simultaneously in all chart. 1)Fix 35- years cycle. 2)variable 35- years cycle as explained differently by different LK scholars. 3)Annual progression of planets as per table of LK. ------------- I am waiting for the explanation as per dasa cycle given by your good selves. This will helps us to understand better and its uses. Thanking you, Your's sincerely, Vijay Goel Jaipur Mob: 09214502239. , " " < wrote: > > > Dear Members, > > > > 35 year dasha chakra > > > > [ 35 year Dasha chakra should be used for the Varsh Phal chart where as > the traditional Vinshottari dasha should be used for the Janma Kundali ] > > > > > > Lal Kitab suggests a 35 year dasha cycle. Guest guest
Respected Vijay ji, If you accept that the dasha at the time of birth can start with a dormant planet, then we have nothing to say. Guest guest
Thankyou Varunji, Actually i think that uses of this 35-saala starts with its first dasa for in example chart from saturn itself, the previous period of three years does not have any value. These previous three years should analysed only by other two LK cycle and this 35 sala cycle should be left. Similar concept like in Nabalig tewa chart. I am opened to all concept..
