Guest guest
Respected Friends, Back when Pt jee was alive, I had the need to do this remedial measure. Because of the kitchen in US having gas/electric stoves, Pt jee had already modified this upaay. He suggested that a seperate tawaa (iron griddle/hotplate) be reserved for this purpose. At the end of the night cooking session, this tawaa should be heated on high heat and some milk should be poured on it (in small quantities) to be "burnt." After the cool down, the left-over "burnt milk" (if any) should to be scraped and collected. After 43 days, the tawaa and the left over burnt milk should be dropped in a river/ocean/running water. Please note that the condition of not using that particular stove till the next morning still applies. Many remedial measures were thus already modified by Pt jee based on new realities. Pt jee was always interested in knowing how life was changing in modern times so that he could fine-tune Lal Kitab system accordingly, if applicable. Another alternative and very effective measure in lieu of this difficult upaay is to bring home a coin (any coin) offered by someone else from a temple/religious place. I have seen on the net some people making this remedial measure impossible to perform by suggesting that the coin should be a copper coin. That is absolutely NOT necessary. Where does one find copper coins these days? Not at all in India (and rarely in the rest of the world.) Even a currency note will do the trick. It needs to be something that someone else has offered. Coin/Currency notes are the easiest things to bring. My recommendation is to offer a five Rupee note and pick a one Rupee coin/note from the temple. In this context, even getting prasaad from the temple/gurudwara is helpful. That is why prasaad is distributed in temples and they say that one must not refuse to accept the prasaad. Guest guest
Nirmal ji, the logic for the remeay is all important. Like for malefic rahu the remedy for eating in kitchen. But jahan khana banta ho implies the presence of fire. Earlier fire was lit at every meal or hot smoldering cow dung cakes were always prerent in the chullha. But now we have microwaves. So what is to be done now. Can a gas burner be lit while taking the meal or the food is to be cooked or heated on it. Guest guest
Respected gurujans pranam, While we are at this useful discussion of modifying the traditional remedies to suit our modern lives, i would also request the senior members to suggest substitutes/alternatives for places which are very hard to find nowadays. for eg. well(kuan), even if one finds a well by luck it will most probably be dried up. This is a very positive and useful start by the seniors to share their knowledge with neophytes like myself and i would urge/humbly request more amd more people and learned members to shed light on these important topics. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, Moon in the 1st house has been described as : Ghar mein rakkhe baratan, ya ghare ka achha pani [ 1952 urdu ed ; page 363 ] ‘stored at home in a utensil, or good water kept in a pot’ Since water stored in a man made object [ ghara or any utensil] is a karak of moon, then water flowing in a man made canal could also be considered a karak of the moon. Have a nice day, Varun Trivedi , kulbir bance <kulbirbance wrote:>> LK considers tap water not to be a true karakatwa of moon as it is> from artificial source tank etc. But then canals are also manmade. Guest guest
Respected Iqbal ji, For moon in the 6th house it is said : ‘paatal ka pani; kuan; handpump vagairah’ [ 1952 urdu ed ; page 365 ] ‘Underground water; well ; handpump etc’ Therefore a substitute of a well has to be some thing which gets most of its water from Paatal [ under ground ], secondly it has to be stagnant water and not flowing water. Therefore a river or a canal or rain water as an alternative of a well are ruled out. A village deep pond or a village deep tank can be an alternative of a well because such ponds or tanks have a ‘srota’ of underground water which feeds them even in summers. With regards, Varun Trivedi , "Iqbal Singh" <punjabilovebug wrote:>> Rivers, rainwater, lakes are good substitutes for wells and are good karakatwa for moon.> > Best Regards,> Iqbal> > > > Sent via Blackberry > > > kulbir bance kulbirbance > Sun, 25 Jan 2009 21:10:15 > ; > LK discussion group Re: LAL KITAB KE ANUPAM UPAY KAISE KIYE JAYE> > > LK considers tap water not to be a true karakatwa of moon as it is> from artificial source tank etc. But then canals are also manmade. Guest guest
Kulbir Jee, Aaj ke daur ka yeh sabse aham swal hai, kya rasoi mein khana khaya ja sakta hai? Aaj sab parivar bikhar chuke hain, joint family kabhi kabhar hee dekhne ko milti hai, agar kisi se puchha jaye ki kya aap joint family mein rehte ho to uska jawab hoga haan........ lekin iska dusra pahlu koi nahi puchhta ki kya rasoi bhee ek hai, agar puchha jaye to jawab hoga jee nahi , joint family ka matlab aaj ke zamane mein yehi reh gaya hai ki hum ek makan (gaur karein ki makan shabad kaha hai GHAR NAHI ) mein rehte hain lekin rasoi sab ki alag alag hai. fir joint family kaise hueee?????Log ekk hee makkan mein rehne ko hee joint family samajh rahe hain. Rasoi mein khana khai to kaise ? pehle ghar ki badi aurat khana bana rahi hoti thee tab sara parivar baith kar khana kha leta thaa ya baari baari se khana kha lete theay. yeh abb bhee ho sakta hai lekin koi karne ko tayar nahi issi liye ghar ghar mein kalesh hai aur barkat nahi ( kalesh : Rahu ) Jiska rahu khana no 12 mein ho usko chahiye woh rasoi mein jab khana khaye (sitting/standing) jaise marzi to usko/unko chahiye ki gas burner (aag: Mangal)on karke chulhe par chahe tea, milk, tadka ya kuchh aur kaam jo ki Agg par ho sake zaroor karna chahiy kyonki yahan par Mangal ka hazir hona zaroori hai. AGAR SARA PARIVAR BHAJAN AUR BHOJAN EK SAATH KARE TO GHAR MEIN SUKH SHANTI AUR SAMRIDHI KA VAAS HO JAYEGA. AISA MERA VICHAR HAI.
