Guest guest
Sirs, At times when there is no river around then it is advised that the upaya item can be thrown into the sea. Is it the same thing as immersing in a river or different? If different then how? Sincerely, MP Jain
Guest guest
Respected Jain Saheb, It is slightly different. When a karak object of a planet is advised to be immersed in flowing water like a river/canal, it is done to distance the effects of the planet. Of course some old Lalkitabists do not think so. They believe that by immersing a karak object in flowing water the planet it is being established in the 4th house. We have our differences on it which have been discussed in the group some time back. If you are interested in that you can go to the archives and read the debate. In case there is no river in the place for example in places like Dubai, Sharjah etc then the same karak object is advised to be immersed in the sea, as the second best option. When an object is immersed in a sea it is assumed to be handed over to the Moon, the mother so that at least it doesn’t act belligerent in the presence of the mother. The Lal Kitab considers a sea as a karak of moon. I think it is the next best thing to do if there is no possibility to distance the effects through immersing in flowing water.
