Guest guest
Dear Kiran jit ji, Thanks for the wonderful discussion on `Budh ke Upaye- kaudiyaan kaise jalaye'. Kaudi jalaane ka tarike to humaare saathiyo ne ache sujhaye. But kaudiyo ko jalaane ka jo upaye mujhey bataya gaya tha aur maine pehle bhi likh tha, wo kuch is prakaar tha: Kaudiyaan ek khule huye mitti ke bartan me kachey koile ke upar jalaani hai aur nadi(river) ke kinaare pe jalaani hai. I am sure ki in sab chizo me koi logic hai. Is liye maine discussion shuru ki thi. To baat ye hai????.ki is upaye ka kaam karne ka tarika samajhna aur ye bhi janana ki kitne samaye me kaudiyaan jal sakti hai. Kaudi- Budh River- Chandra Coal: Shani Mitti ka bartan: Budh Jis taraha se hamaare group me discussion chal rahi hai , dekh kar bahut acha laga. I joined this group on Bhooshan Ji's suggestion and I am glad that I joined. Kiran Jit Ji se sawaal hai ki kya aap bata sakte hai ki kaudiyaan kitne samaye me raakh ho sakti hai. Guest guest
Respected Mechastro ji, Burning Kaudis and then immersing their ash into a river is what in Vedic Jyotish is called an Anushthan. This upaya is more than an upaya, it is an Anushthan. There is a slight difference between doing an upaya and doing an upaya like an Anushthan. Although the Lal Kitab does not prescribe the procedure to do this upaya, but we Hindus, through our tradition, know how to do such upaya. The Lal Kitab didn’t have to explain this; we already know it. When an upaya is to be done like an Anushthan, then traditions get added to it. All such Jyotish Anushthan where some thing is to be immersed in a river or water, are normally done at the banks of a river, sea, lake or a Sarovar. If you notice Pinda daan is also done at the banks of such water bodies. There are many such Anushthan which are done like that. That explains why it is advisable to burn the Kaudis at the bank of a river itself. The best way to do it would be to crush them into choora and then burn. At least I personally do not agree with the idea of burning the Kaudis at home, either on a gas burner or through a welding machine. By the way, kachcha koyala [ lakadi ka koyala ] is a karak vastu of Rahu, where as Coal [ patthar ka koyala ] is a karak vastu of Saturn.
