Two cycles of age / aayu chakra

Most of the Lal Kitabists use only one 35year aayu

chakra [ cycle of age ]. In most cases they are not

aware that the Lal Kitab talks of yet another aayu

chakra of 36 year cycle. At least I have never come

across the 36year cycle being discussed in any of

the books published on the Lal Kitab.

[ 1 ] 35 year aayu chakra:

This is a very useful concept of the Lal Kitab. Each

planet has been assigned a few years of age

amounting to 35 years. After the cycle is over, the

cycle starts all over again. It can have three runs

till the age of 105 years

Saturn : 1-6 years

Rahu : 7-12

Ketu : 13-15

Jupiter: 16-21

Sun : 22-23

Moon : 24th

Venus : 25-27

Mars : 28-33

Mercury: 34-35

[ table given in Arun Sanhita , 1952 ed ;on page 67 ]

[ a ] A planet will be quite influential during

the years assigned to it. I have found that during

the years of Ketu [ 13-15 ] children invariably

lose interest in studies and suffer from the lack

of concentration. If the upaya of Ketu is done,

the problem gets eliminated and the children

get back to their studies with full concentration.

Similarly, the astrologer has to keep an eye on

the planet ruling over the section of the age.

Note : This sequence of planets is different from the

sequence of the planets in a similar sounding 35 years

Dasha cycle. The two should not be confused.

[ 2 ] 36 year aayu chakra

Apart from the planet identified from the table

above, the astrologer should also keep in mind

another planet from a table which assigns the

years of the age to different rasi. With the

help of this table we can find out which planet

should also be considered as an influential planet

for that year. If there is no planet in that Rasi , in

that case the rasi lord should be taken to be the

influential planet.

This is the sequence

Aries : 1-3 years

Taurus : 4-6

Gemini : 7-9

Capri : 10â€"12

Aqua : 13-15

Pisces : 16-18

Cancer : 19-21

Leo : 22-24

Virgo : 25-27

Libra : 28-30

Scorpio : 31-33

Sagg : 34-36

[ table is given on page 88 of Arun Sanhita 1942 ed ].

The cycle starts all over again. It can have three

runs till the age of 108.

Suppose you are assessing the planets for the

24th year of the native, then according to the

35year aayu chakra the influential planet will

be the Moon; According to the 36year aayu

chakra it will be the planet/s placed in Leo.

In case there is no planet then the lord of the

Rasi the Sun will be another influential planet

for that year.

A planet identified as an influential planet

from the 36year aayu chakra will be remediable.

Therefore one has to keep in mind that two or

may be more planets in relation to the age slots

can assert their influence in any particular year.

Respected Priyaji Sir,

The dasa sequence of 36yrs cycle (2nd one) is quite logical as per LK

principles.

It starts from Index finger (jupiter finger),

Aries : 1-3 years

Taurus : 4-6

Gemini : 7-9

than middle finger (saturn),

Capri : 10-12

Aqua : 13-15

Pisces : 16-18

than ring(sun) finger

Cancer : 19-21

Leo : 22-24

Virgo : 25-27

than pinky (mercury) finger.

Libra : 28-30

Scorpio : 31-33

Sagg : 34-36

I think three years are alloted for each rashi to accumulate the

result of three phalanges (spiritual,mental,physical).

The dasa cycle of 35 yrs is unique to Lal-Kitab.

It does not have any similar match with traditional astrology.

In traditional astrology, maturity cycle of planets is described below.

Till 16 years of age child is under the supervision of elders.

four years each of mother, than father, than guru than society.

The further cycle is :

Jupiter :16-22: (completes education)

Sun :22-24 (takes independent decision)

Moon :24-25 (understands socialism)

Venus :25-28 (understand marriage and family life)

Mars :28-32 (competes for livelihood)

Mercury :32-36 (Establish himself in 'give take' policy of society)

Saturn :36-42 (Hard work for second rise in society)

Rahu :42-48 (Diplomatic understanding)

Ketu :48-54. (makes some image in society)

This is just my view to look at dasa cycle.

Thanks and regards,

Vijay Goel.
