Guest guest
Houses studied together - 2 House # 1, 7, 8, & 11 [ a ] Planet placed in the 1st house is considered the King where as a planet placed in the 7th house is considered as its prime minister. If there are more planets in the Lagna than those in the 7th it would amount to having more kings than the prime ministers. Such a situation can cause disorder and chaos. So long as the prime ministers, planets placed in the 7th house are more than the ones placed in the 1st house, the things would stay orderly. [ b ] A planet placed in the 11th house is taken to be the legs of the planet placed in the Lagna. The planet placed in the 8th will act as the eyes of the planet placed in the Lagna. Now this is quite obvious that for a King to be effective he should have reliable eyes and the legs. [ c ] The 8th house is also taken to mean the considered opinion of the prime minister. That is, the 7th house planet would advise the planet placed in the Lagna according to the nature of the planet placed in the 8th. Houses # 3, 5, 9, 10, & 11 [ a ] If there are mutually friendly planets in the 2nd and the 9th houses then the native will be very fortunate and will also enjoy the wealth and the fame earned by his ancestors. If they are enemies, then he may not be lucky and may not have much of what his ancestors had left. [ b ] The relationship and the relevance of the planets in the 2nd and the 9th has been explained in the book through an image. The monsoon winds arise from the 9th house and strike against the mountain of the 2nd house resulting in the rain in the 4th house. If there is no planet in the 9th, the monsoon clouds will not form and hence no rain. Similarly if there is no planet in the 2nd house the clouds will go through because there is no mountain to hold the clouds; and there will be no rain. [ c ] Both the 3rd house and the 5th are associated with the 9th house. The planet placed in the 3rd starts affecting the native after the birth of the brother; similarly the planet placed in the 5th starts affecting after the birth of the progeny. If the planets placed in the 3rd and the 9th are friendly towards the planet placed in the 9th, the native will enjoy the benefic results of them. [ d ] If there are mutual enemies placed in the 5th and the 8th, then the planet placed in the 11th will attack with lightening speed affecting the relatives signified by the 5th and the 8th house. [ e ] Planet placed in the 5th and the 10th will be in a relationship of conflict. Even if they might be friends, still the significations of these planets might suffer in their years. [ f ] If the 11th house is unoccupied, then there will be no financial stability. Bhooshan Priya Next : Posheeda teen / veiled trio
Guest guest
Respected Priyaji, In LK- 1941 (tisra hissa) under pakka ghar from 1st to 12th , i have compiled that for each house some planets gives the results of that house, wherever they are present in the horoscope. A, B uus teve mein jesse , kahi bhi uske bethe ho phal vesse hi ghar X ke, uus teve mein hote hein (here A,B is planets and X is house number) Houses: Planets First House : Jupiter, saturn, mars. Second House : Jupiter, Venus. Third House : Mercury , saturn , mars. Fourth House : Jupiter, Sun , Moon. Fifth House : Jupiter , sun, rahu, ketu. Sixth House : Mercury, Ketu, Venus. Seventh House : Venus, Mercury. Eight House : Saturn, mars, moon. Ninth House : Jupiter (alone). Tenth House : (Papi Grah) Rahu, ketu, saturn. Eleventh House : Jupiter, Saturn. Twelveth House : Jupiter, rahu , saturn. a) My question is that all planets in combination will say the result of referred house, if present anywhere in horoscope or individually (like karak concept in tradionally astrology)? for eg Combination jupiter + saturn+ mars, if present anywhere in horoscope , that result will confine to first house or we have to look ju or sa or mars individually. Best Wishes, Vijay Goel Jaipur.
Guest guest
Respected Goel ji, Yes you are right the last lines for all the pakka houses in the 1941 edition do mention what you have said. We have certain reservations about it. Take the example of the first house: It might get affected by the Sun [ pakka house ], Mars [ the owner of the kal purush kundali house ] and Saturn [ the house of debility ] through their placements. Why was Sun not included in the list and why was jupiter included in the list is some thing we have not been able to corelate. Same is the case with other houses. Therefore while studying the first house we will take cognizance of the planet placed in the first house and, if at all, of the sun and the mars. Any way most of the time we prefer to go by the traditional concepts of the the planet/s placed in the house, aspects of the planet/s on the house, the placement of the bhavesh [ house lord ] and the aspects on the bhavesh. The traditional concepts are time tested and logical and we stick to them. Guest guest
Dear Varunji, Till we dont get more clues we restrict ourselves to traditional concept as you have said. But are you sure that LK is not saying to see the combine effect of these planets gives the result to the referred House. for eg I mean if three planets (Jupiter, saturn, mars) place in a single house anywhere in the chart will not indicate the result of first house. ??? Please clarify this ? Thanking you, Best Wishes, Vijay Goel Jaipur. , " varun_trvd " <varun_trvd wrote: > > Respected Goel ji, > > Yes you are right the last lines for all the pakka houses in the > 1941 edition do mention what you have said. > > We have certain reservations about it. > > Take the example of the first house: > > It might get affected by the Sun [ pakka house ], Mars [ the owner > of the kal purush kundali house ] and Saturn [ the house of > debility ] through their placements. Guest guest
Respected Goel ji, The reason we suggest to follow the traditional approach, is that there are at places blatant contradictions in the Lal Kitab. See for yourself : 1941 ed page # 8 lines 15-16 says: Guru shani aur mangal teve, kahin bhi uske baithe hon Phal vaise hi ghar pahale ke us teve mein hote hon 1942 urdu ed page 12 lines 3-5 says: Ravi shani budh mangal teve, kahin bhi uske biathe hon Phal vaise hi ghar pahale ke us teve mein hote ho Now you can see that in the 1942 original urdu edition Jupiter has been dropped and in its place the sun and mercury have been added. No reasons given for it. We are at a loss to understand as to how mercury gets associated with the 1st house. These lines have been completely dropped from the 1952 edition. Had these lines been significant they would not have been dropped altogether. Therefore we should study the results of a bhava [ house ] as per the traditional approach.
